This is a mostly upright seating position sports/touring motorcycle of somewhat greater power and performance than a standard Ducati. It is a "bored and stroked" big brother to the 850 Shiver and it has the same 1200 ccs displacement as an old Hurley engine had -- just over twice as much hp and over twice as much torque and less than half the weight than a Hurley ever had.

I don't think I'll be hunting any of these babies up in the Dragon mountain areas ...... they'd eat me first !!!

looks pretty much like a Ducati, but better performance.you think ?

It's like comparing the old 289 small block to the new 302 small block.

One had pushrods, small valves and carbs;
the other has DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder and MPI.

On the other hand... try running one of these babies on low octane fuel...

The old technology bikes (and small blocks) you could rejet the carbs and delay the ignition on the dizzy.
The new technology bikes, if you don't have a NASA scientist and his laptop, you won't be going anywhere.

For dependability and rugged reliability, give me carbs and points&condenser ignition anytime.

For road&track in a high tech environment, rocket science will give you Superman performance - at Unca Scrooge's prices.

I don't think I'd ever buy one, I'm getting too decrepit in the hips and shoulders to ride what I have now very well any more.

But like looking at pretty girls, I still can dream pleasant dreams ....
