Title: Online Motorcycle Fitment Guide Post by PerrydaSavage on 11/08/10 at 08:41:07 This is pretty wild ... just punch in your height and inseam and choose a particular model Bike to see if it'll fit (doesn't show LS650 though) ... Will even show feet down and feet up! http://cycle-ergo.com/ |
Title: Re: Online Motorcycle Fitment Guide Post by Oldfeller on 11/08/10 at 08:54:38 That is pretty neat -- shows me up on tippy toes on all the bikes I'd like to ride ..... but can't. Pretty realistic if you ask me. Good tool for bike shoppers. |
Title: Re: Online Motorcycle Fitment Guide Post by Skid Mark on 11/08/10 at 11:02:54 That's a handy tool. Apparently I should't ride over 3/4 of the bikes out there. >:( |
Title: Re: Online Motorcycle Fitment Guide Post by EJID on 11/08/10 at 12:58:34 LOL, I tried putting myself on a HD Night Rod Special and it said "TOO SHORT TO REACH THE PEGS" and wouldn't even display the picture!!! :D |
Title: Re: Online Motorcycle Fitment Guide Post by jef.savage on 11/08/10 at 13:23:45 That is pretty cool. It wouldn't show me on a Night Rod either even though I've ridden one. |
Title: Re: Online Motorcycle Fitment Guide Post by LostArtist on 11/08/10 at 15:10:14 if you change it to reach the ground it'll show you, even if your legs dangle, ask me how I know . . . 5'1" limited options, this is a great tool! |
Title: Re: Online Motorcycle Fitment Guide Post by mick on 11/08/10 at 16:09:35 I found at least two Ducatis that I could ride ,now all I need is a left hand. |
Title: Re: Online Motorcycle Fitment Guide Post by babyhog on 11/08/10 at 17:19:20 You men must have some really short legs... ;) |
Title: Re: Online Motorcycle Fitment Guide Post by justin_o_guy2 on 11/08/10 at 18:46:45 No Kawa W650, No Guzzi Nevada, phhhhht... |

Yep ! And no Ducati ST, neither... :-/ No Kawasaki Drifter, the "Indian lookalike" based on the Vulcan. I think they simply posted the bikes that sell most. On the other hand, dealerships should have such a tool to check biometrics of a buyer before he tries to sit on the bike, teeters and falls to one side !!! ;D ;D ;D |
Title: Re: Online Motorcycle Fitment Guide Post by skatnbnc on 11/10/10 at 13:51:32 I wish this had been around when i was first MC shopping - I could have saved a LOT of wasted time sitting on bikes where my feet never reached the floor! |

mine are short ,they bearly reach my a$$. 30" inseam, and its tough trying to find pants at 32" + 30" it's not easy being a shortass. Every year I get a couple of pairs of sweat pants just for lounging around the house, so I went to wal-mart the sizes started at LG,then went to XLg, then to XX Lg, then to XXXLg.and to ,please see or ask for the manager, I called and told him I wanted Small, he sent me to the boys department, pretty bad when a 73 year old guy has to go to the junior dept. |
Title: Re: Online Motorcycle Fitment Guide Post by bill67 on 11/12/10 at 05:49:37 I sued the city of Genoa City for building the sidewalks so close to my a$$ |

My body isn't out-growing the sizes, but the bad part is that my age has out-grown the young "styles"... |
Title: Re: Online Motorcycle Fitment Guide Post by Savage_Amusement on 11/12/10 at 07:31:07 I have a 27" inseam, I walk the bottoms of most pants OFF lol. |

Title: Re: Online Motorcycle Fitment Guide Post by Paladin. on 11/26/10 at 22:14:20 http://cycle-ergo.com/Request.html Catch-22: "The photo must be a press photo from the manufacturer" Requests that the picture is white background and "reasonably large; ideally 800 pixels wide or more" I used http://www.savageriders.com/images/Suzuki_S40_2011.jpg |

Title: Re: Online Motorcycle Fitment Guide Post by piglt on 11/27/10 at 13:20:16 Know what you mean babyhog. If I try to buy mens' sizes I have to get a 27 or 28 waist and a 32 length, almost impossible to find on the shelf. Or my other option is the junior dept where all the zippers are about 2 inches long in the front and about 2 inches of my butt is going to hang out in the back. ;D |
