Title: $5.00 Rack

2 90 degree supports, 2 hose clamps, flat black paint two bolts, some kind of rack from a 60s vintage refrigerator. Ugly part is hidden by tool bag. Holds about 6 lbs. I have fooled with this for 30 minutes. I give up. Hope you can see the simplicity. Have other pics, but can only load one at at a time. I'll make a deal with the Newbies. I'll make fun of you for not knowing where the sparkplug is, and you can make fun of me not knowing how to work a computer. Deal?

Here is a pic of the rack before I bent the supports up to make them level. I also prefer a smaller heat shield on the Harley Muffs. This one came from JC Whitney for about $20. Thanks to Yonuh for the instructions on posting pics. Boofer

"Other than winter"
that reminds me, a few years back I was in an auto parts store.  A guy came in to buy some freon couse it was blowing warm air, and asked where to put it in.  The counter guy went outside and popped his hood.  The car did not have AC, but the guy said "It blew cold air in February"....

JC Whitney, six or seven inches long. $20 I ordered too small not thinking of Harley muff being larger than 1 3/4'. Hate to say it, but it's wired on with stainless wire from back side. I didn't like the small muff with large OEM shield. Muffler came from a Softail or Night Train. Cheap is great, but cheap and easy is wonderful!

Boof,

Looks pretty functional.....I like it!

If it were me, I'd put two hose clamps on each side and get in the habit of checking them regularly, as I've seen those things crack.

Rectangular "u-bolts" would work even better there, if you can find some.

IHTH!

Digger, I forgot to mention that the tool bag is also tied to the sissy bar by the strap that came with it. It has attachments on the back. It can only go a little ways toward the side. But I get your point. I just like using up all the crap I have lying around from years of bringing home junk.  :)
