Nice story mate, I did hear about him pretty hard not to have. but even in those days I was very anti religion, what the story didn't tell you ,there was a fringe sect that wouldn't go near them unless it was to harrass,we mostly hung out at the busy bee,and at other guys houses,we were more into booze than drugs.I wasn't there long because I came to the states in 67, I think the Ace was closed at that time. I guess they got sick of guys sitting there taking up seats and tables for a 6 penny cup of tea,and a piece of toast. Hard to make it pay.   They have since reopened.

Actually, I think it's the beaver clan.  The tribe has twelve clans (which are matrilineal in most tribes) and each had a sculpture in the central plaza.  We rode around the plaza four three or four times, then retired to the tribal arts and performance center for a dance demonstration and some Indian tacos.

Indian tacos are like regular tacos, only with fry bread (bannock) instead of tortillas.
