Title: Re: Southpaw, 12Bravo Post by Wolfman on 12/31/10 at 20:09:23 So noones heard from them? Couple of nasty mid-winter tornadoes tore things up and killed a few people in their areas this morning. One right through Ft Wood. Couple about 15 miles south of me but have'nt heard of any injuries with them. |

Title: Re: Southpaw, 12Bravo Post by 12Bravo on 01/01/11 at 11:25:36 I'm fine. we had a lot of rain yesterday morning, my front yard ended up flooding. Yesterday afternoon the sun came out so I took my girlfriend for a nice little ride to finish out 2010. Thanks for asking. |
Title: Re: Southpaw, 12Bravo Post by Southpaw on 01/01/11 at 19:52:41 I'm OK! I was at work when it hit. Lots of noise, no damage in my neck of the woods. I heard a line from Owensville through Pacific got hit pretty hard. Pretty lucky I guess. Just a FWIW. I've been away from the computer for awhile. My main computer is in a part of the house undergoing some repair so I don't find myself spending as much "idle time" there right now. Add to that my brother finally got his bone marrow transplant 10 days ago. :) pardon my lack of updates, I just got out of the habit when I was away from the keyboard. I should be back on my regular schedule in a couple of weeks! Thanks for asking and everyone have a Happy New Year! |
Title: Re: Southpaw, 12Bravo Post by Wolfman on 01/02/11 at 13:46:32 Good deal. I tell ya what though, im getting REAL TIRED of these mid-winter twisters here lately. FUBAR even for MO weather. The stinking ice storms the last couple of years have been excessive even for us. MO born and raised so twisters in the spring are just another part of the weather but these mid-winter twisters the last couple of years has me even thinking about moveing to westrn New Mexico or so to get out of this stuff we've had the last 4 or 5 years. Geezzzz! ::) |
