He was probably mad because the bike gets better fuel economy than his $20,000+ Prius!

Heck, my 10 year old Saturn can equal or top the highway mpg on those. I've had as good as 44.9 mpg all interstate. :D

But you can't get all the warm fuzzies inside by being 'green' and driving a hybrid. You obviously don't care about the planet.... ;D

Surprisingly enough though, I've probably planted several hundred trees in my life (maybe not a tree hugger, but tree sympathetic maybe?). Every summer growing up on a ranch Dad would get some from the state, and we'd plant them along the edges of the pastures he wintered the cattle in, to help block the wind off them. The deer seemed to appreciate them too, they'd eat about half the baby ceders we'd plant every winter! ::)

Wow, that comment really got off the thread of the post...
back to our regularly scheduled stuff! :D
