He lived large & went out quick, as most stroke victims go.. He sure had one heck of a life,, & didnt get old & frail & sick for years,,
Last night on George Noory the host played a few E-street songs & made sure to get some sax in there.. that guy could tear it up..

I'm not a Springsteen fan but give credit where it's due, Clemons was one of the best Sax players in the world. Here ya go Bill, have a listen. Bad vid but the sound is good.

So sorry to hear of his passing. I read about his stroke a couple days ago. Been a Springsteen fan for a long time and played the sax myself, so I love listening to Clemons play. Saw them in concert only once, 1984, and still say it was the best concert i ever saw. Nobody could make a sax come to life like The Big Man, rest his soul.

I read that he was a man with a history of football playin & was aspiring to a carreer, then got in a car wreck & "changed majors",, took up the sax, saw Springsteen, went & told him " I want to be in your band",, the rest, as they say, is History.
