Road to Paris Ont to see the antique and Classic Motorcycle show sponsored by the Canadian Vintage Motorcycle Group. Here are some pics.

I was hpoing to see some pre-war Enfields, but the only one there was a "51 350 twin.

I don't know the make, but it is a beautiful four cylinder with a side car. Notice the wooden pillion handle.

I apologize for not keeping a photo log so I could tell you more info on these beautiful old machines. There was of course a few pre WWI Harleys there, but we've all seen those before, so I didn't include them.

Nice to see a show that ain't a bunch of Harley clones...
I know the "Superior" is supposed to be ultimate, but,.. that little Beemer thumper is gorgeous ain't it?... I love that melted vanilla ice cream color...

Very nice, different assortment. I like them all, but that Beemer is dreamy. If I had my choice to take one home though, I think it would have to be the Enfield. So can you pedal the Merkel too, without the engine running?

I might be wrong but I think the pedals were used primarily to start the motor. Maybe something to do with braking too.

That Ol thing started runnin pretty smoove there toward the end,, daang, hearin an engine like that just does something inside me..

Wow! Doesn't look very comfortable to ride to me, but still an awesome looking machine. And I realize it might be fine, but I can't imagine running a fine old machine like that on a contraption like that with just ratchet straps holding it in place. Just a little out of my comfort zone, if it were me. And the chain looked a little floppy while running, is that normal? Just something that caught my eye...

WOW!!! :o I have to say that was an awesome video to watch the way all the mechanical portions of that engine run. Gives me some more appreciation for all the things going on inside the box of current machines.
