LOL My teacher's notes on my report cards when I was little always said I was a wonderful student, but talked too much. I know you find that hard to believe, but its true! Not to mention, I have a desk job that gives me the opportunity to check in here plenty often. But you know, if I hadn't cancelled as many replies as I have, I'd probably be up to 5000 by now! So I do keep my mouth shut sometimes.... |

We all talk at the same time, have 5 conversations going on at the same time, and can all keep track of the details of all 5. A man doesn't stand a chance! ;D |

Men on the otherhand used only 5000 per day on average. So by the time the man gets home hes all talked out and the woman is just getting fired up. Want something fun? Try being the only guy with 3-4 women daily in home. Yap yap yap yap yap. GEEZZZZ! Why ya think i bought the Bike!!! And is'nt it funny how a man can get a message across with as few as 5 or 6 words. And a woman isnt even started with the message by the time shes spit out 50 words. And directions! NEVER ask a woman for directions. ::) |

Post by weracerc on 06/24/11 at 05:44:03 I hear and comprehend everything the wife (of 20yr) says - I can repeat it back to her word for word (proved it many times just to shut her up, momentarily).....i maintain the glazed look of idiot-doofus-man as i listen...if i reply it only leads to even more words from her and i am using tomorrows words which i might need at work or talking to buddies about improtant things like race cars, motorcycles, the price of tea in china, who is looking good for the big game this weekend - you know important man-stuff....if i participate in her froo froo "I think i am going to decorating the bathroom like this... what do you think?" conversation she might get "sure whatever you think"...thats 4 words that could have served a better purpose like "what's up dude!" or "going to the game" or "did you see that"...all much better use of my allotted four words.......Venus & Mars...her parting four words "sleeping on the couch" followed by "Just so you know"...had to use 8 words when 4 would have worked. |

I, on the other hand, have been married to the same woman for over 43 years. She is my best friend as well as my mate, and we spend hours talking every day, not because we have to, but because we enjoy it. I believe that is true of a lot of couples. |

Knowing Serowbot places funny posts from other places, I figured he had found one that reminded him somehow of Piglet and myself. Well he fooled me. When my Mom and her 4 sisters get together as well as myself. Well like Piglet, no man has a chance of getting a word in. Hubby doesn't even try. He has learned it is pointless.. Thanks again Serowbot for recognizing mine and Piglet's post count as well as our contribution to the forum.
