Title: Re: Muhohoharhar!... Post by youzguyz on 06/23/11 at 03:50:54 There are modifications available for those that still want to ride but can't due to age or injury. Some go to a trike, some do the mods. Here is just one of many sites with info: http://www.trikealternative.com/ You don't stop riding because you get old. You get old because you stop riding. HOWEVER, our guest in this picture does not seem to have it right.. :-? |

Title: Re: Muhohoharhar!... Post by Oldfeller on 06/23/11 at 07:51:31 Justin, in windows you right click on the image, select "copy location" and paste that into your other forum -- then put whatever brackets that your other forum requires to get it to show up. Hunting hurleys jest became less attractive because of this -- I'd pure tee be embarrassed if I turned one turtle up at the Dragon and it started shining them little trainer wheels at everybody. I'd feel like I'd jest beat up a cripple. |
Title: Re: Muhohoharhar!... Post by EJID on 06/23/11 at 08:13:26 Gotta cut the Hurley guy some slack...it was more CHROME to add to his polishing routine ;D |
Title: Re: Muhohoharhar!... Post by splash07 on 06/23/11 at 08:17:28 I would at least have them painted black to match the asphalt instead of the chrome which is much more easily spotted. |
Title: Re: Muhohoharhar!... Post by lukeduck on 06/23/11 at 09:41:01 Seems there is a real good answer to this problem already. Automobile, car, pickup, Maby a Mazda Miata? Ride as long as you can and then carry on with grace and dignaty. |
Title: Re: Muhohoharhar!... Post by Serowbot on 06/23/11 at 09:53:10 Nobody is saying Photoshop?.. I don't know, but... that's just sad... That it's not being questioned is sad for Harley... If it is real,... it's absolutely pitiful... Next step from there is to just sell Harley stamped saddlebags and and chrome sissy bars for a Ford... |
Title: Re: Muhohoharhar!... Post by babyhog on 06/23/11 at 13:28:30 Yea, I was thinking photoshop, because the woman on back doesn't look like she'd be caught dead on something with training wheels... ;D |
Title: Re: Muhohoharhar!... Post by Wolfman on 06/23/11 at 15:12:45 Photoshop. Wheels are to low to the ground. You couldnt turn or cut a corner on that thing without going toes up. AND...THAT gal wouldnt be caught dead on the back of a training wheeled bike...lol |
Title: Re: Muhohoharhar!... Post by WD on 06/23/11 at 19:22:38 The photo may be doctored, but the training wheels do exist. AND they do sit that low. The mount pivots up while turning. Harley and Honda dealerships both keep them behind the counter for the big bikes. Rug rat dirt bike sets are in blister packs with the other accessories. I spend entirely too much time in bike shops considering I don't work at one anymore. |
Title: Re: Muhohoharhar!... Post by drharveys on 06/23/11 at 21:29:01 "Training Wheels" are totally mis-named. They don't train you for anything. Every kid riding a bike with them just cocks the bike to one side and rides on three wheels. Here's the training bikes I got for my grandkids: http://glidebikes.com/ |
Title: Re: Muhohoharhar!... Post by justin_o_guy2 on 06/23/11 at 21:32:18 Training wheels? I didnt get no steenkeeng training wheels.. I was living on a shell covered road in Houston.. I think I fell twice,, I was EXTREMELY Motivated to learn to ride that thing without falling. |
Title: Re: Muhohoharhar!... Post by JohnBoy on 06/24/11 at 13:10:12 I wonder if they make spinners for those??? |
