Well my clutch cable on my 01 that I had resoldered snapped. So will just replace. Will any year work?

I can't remember what year they went to the drag bars on the Savage/S40 if you have the drag bars on yours then yes any year will work, you just might have a little longer cable then what you had before. Now if you have the buck horn style bars you will need the cable from a Savage/S40 that has the buck horn style bars.

Sometime this week I'll be changing out the throttle cable on mine with a longer Barnett Cable I ordered through Lancer, so I'll have a stock one available in the buck horn bar length. PM me with an offer if you can wait till the end of the week before it gets shipped off.

buckhorn cables are a tad longer than drag bar cables, otherwise, any year.
