When I was younger, we were always trying to get a slice of Pie. I have however seen a lot of reference to Cupcake lately. So does anyone know?

Hell no, I'd take pie any day over cupcake. I hate the whole rigormorale of peeling the Idiotic paper form the cupcake and then try to scrape it and then taste the paper and what not ... pie it is. The more wet and gooey it is, the better.

There's a place in La Jolla CA, and I'm sure elsewhere, called CUPs. All they do is sell cupcakes and they do darn good business. Their cupcakes a are really good. Idk if they will overtake pie as the traditional American desert, but they are darn good.

I've got 2 sons and according to them, this what a cupcake is...also from yahoo answers.

"hahaha this almost definitely does not apply to this context, but where i come from, a 'cupcake' is when someone farts into their cupped hand and throws it into someone's face nearby. in my experience you DO need a man around to experience this hahahaha" :-/

OK after further research I have found that pie is still pie. Cupcakes are breasts. And flatulence in the hand is cup a cheese.
