Title: Passion is as passion does
Post by Pine on 05/07/13 at 06:32:38

We get some pretty heated threads going on in here.. created by our passion of freedom and our need for justice and liberty.

Today I did something I have never done before ( sorta)... I rode my Savage to the polling place to vote. One thing I am sure we CAN agree on, we have the right to vote and the obligation to do so. So to all, what ever your position... exercise your right... ride your thumper to the POLL and VOTE!

8-)

Voting is technically a privilege... you can lose your "right" to vote. You can lose your gun "rights". And in several states, free speech is "only for those who say the right things" (Gary Locke, Democrat, former Governor of Washington)...

Sound more like privileges than rights from a strict interpretation... of course, if you're dumb enough to get popped for a felony, as far as I'm concerned, you've lost the "right" to be considered a viable human being anyway...

I've never had to sit jury duty. I've been: at college in another county, living in Europe while in the military, medically excused... the SS collar tabs I wore last time might help too...  ;)

Vote all you can before the computers take over. After that its all over, sometimes the system we have now doesn't work. The Supreme Court elected George W Bush.
