Title: Oil Filter Post by scuba2 on 04/01/14 at 12:04:57 Is the KN-137 a direct replacement for Suzuki PN 16510-37450? Some websites say it is, others say it isn’t. KN website says it is… Manufacturer Part Number Suzuki 1651037440 Suzuki 1651037450 …but then has a disclaimer: CROSS REFERENCE WARNING - When a specific filter is not shown in our application search results for a specific vehicle application, it should be assumed that there is not a K&N filter for that vehicle. Any use of this cross reference guide to find a replacement filter is done at the installer's risk. I have a 2013 and it does not show up on their application search. Don’t like ordering things then having to return incorrect parts. Just want to be sure so thought I would ask here. My search on here didn’t offer an answer. Thanks! |

Title: Re: Oil Filter Post by Doug B on 04/01/14 at 12:39:28 The K & N KN-137 is the correct oil filter for our bikes(mine is a 2011). I have one in my bike now, and a new one that I'm looking at(today's job). My local dealer has tried to sell me the Suzuki filter on two occasions(and at a greater cost). |

Title: Re: Oil Filter Post by verslagen1 on 04/01/14 at 15:22:32 that's funny, zuki filter was about $3.50 last time I bought one over the counter... K&N was something like $7 |

Title: Re: Oil Filter Post by Fishbulb on 04/02/14 at 10:25:28 I picked up the "K&N KN-137 Suzuki High Performance Oil Filter" off of Amazon for around $7. Installed a last week, looked like the one I removed and fit fine. http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B000E28COK/ref=oh_details_o05_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 |

Title: Re: Oil Filter Post by verslagen1 on 04/02/14 at 13:23:15 of course that was a couple of years ago. Now I buy online in bulk. I've been using HiFlo filters and I'm quite happy with them. Also, you might ask for a filter for a DR650... same filter, more popular bike. |

Title: Re: Oil Filter Post by Doug B on 04/02/14 at 13:40:18 Good to know verslagen1 thanks In fact, the DR650 was my first choice to buy new less than 2 years ago The deal breaker : seat height Although I'm very happy with my decision |
