on my rebuild, as i will change the tank relocate or swap out the spedometer , is there a compatible or standard spedo gear to the crank case coupling/cable or something i could get?

Please educate me.

I am gonna be a bit vague....but I believe a GT380 or GT550 tachometer cable will work. Someone in the Bike Builds section listed exactly which one is required.

I believe it is for the GT550. Try and find a thread posted by ToesNose on adding a speedo and tach. He had the model and year listed on the cable.

Yea I relocated my speedo up to the bars, used a 73-77 GT550 tach cable which works perfectly ;)
