Yeah, the Stasi were some pretty horrendous people. Imagine what they could have accomplished with today's technology.

From what I just read, it doesn't sound like suicide to me. Who kills themselves fully clothed in a bathtub (but not drowned) and full of all sorts of drugs? I've never heard of this guy but it seems a little fishy.

Actually, the article points to the Mossad, who have count on good friends across the Ocean.
Read the article, it mentions the Iran-Contras affair, of "Col. Oliver North" fame.

Sounds like one of those old-school mafia jobs where the police find a body locked in a trunk with 37 gunshot wounds and ruled it a suicide.
