Title: Re: dem debate Post by old.indian on 02/12/16 at 08:11:05 Today an elderly friend is in surgery to amputate her leg. Another friend is in the last stages of Pancreatic cancer. Another has his 97 year old mother in a complete full time care home (cost = $7,500 a month + meds etc.. His income is $21,000 a year.) All three are, or the spouse of, veterans, but none are covered by the VA. :-[ This is an instance where I stand with Serowbot and say that healthcare is more important than a bunch of fat cat fear mongers saying that they will save us from the boogie man under the bed, IF we give them more money and give up more of our rights. >:( |

+1 on the healthcare If we had NAZI GESTAPO immigration, I wouldn't care who they let in. But instead they don't know who's here, where they are or if they've overstayed their visa. |

So let me get this straight. The government already has a giant organization called the VA which is suppose to take care of vets. As has been shown, it's been abysmal failure. How difficult would it have been to simply add spouses to the VA medical plan? So, you think that by handing even more healthcare responsibility over the government, somehow, this is going to be the one thing they get right and get it right without overspending? Really? I gotta bridge you can buy.... Oh, and the 97 year old woman? Forget it, government healthcare would prioritize her and she wouldn't get $hit. |

Title: Re: dem debate Post by justin_o_guy2 on 02/12/16 at 13:27:13 Let's stop and think. Has government gotten larger or smaller in the last fifty years? Who was representing me and you as each MISERABLE trade deal got passed? You DO know that the unemployment statistics, that we pay the government to keep up with, are completely bogus, right? The ONLY socialist state that I know of that was successful was Libya. The HMFIC, currently and for the foreseeable future, dead, Gaddafi, had built the worlds largest irrigation system and WE,in our fervor to free those people from the wicked man and make their lives better, bombed that system into the stone age. Our caring knows no bounds. Everyone should have a look at what life was like in Libya. They had health care, and education, I don't think they paid for electricity, all possible because of the oil. I agree, having a decent, affordable health care system would be great. I'm not an idiot. I've seen the trade deals. I watch endless war. Our Elected Representatives don't care what the People want. And I was aware of that by the fourth grade. I thought there was something, somewhere, about Equal Protection Under the Law..... I guess not, though, or the Electeds would have to use Bamicare. Don't worry about it. Hillary will be next and she will finish Fixing all the stuff Obama didn't have time to get to. Don't forget, I proclaimed her Next when she and bammy met with the bilderbergers, then she stepped back and let bammy win. When she wins, coff, gag, coff, gag,, I hope people realize how obvious the corruption is. |

Title: Re: dem debate Post by raydawg on 02/12/16 at 15:56:08 Look gang, neither side has fixed the decay this nation is experiencing..... They blame each other well, and party trumps before the welfare of the country.... Its broke, and corrupt, and we need to put everything on the table. People get it, this is why Sanders and Trump are where they are. To elect the same candidate merely for party affiliation has got us in this mess. I see where we really fix the tax system, and healthcare, and education I believe is a key to many of our ills.... But the education system needs to be overhauled too, and bring back trade schools, etc... No more able bodies just sitting home, we put them to work, schooling, something.... fix our infrastructure. Even if we do an extension of a peace corp type of thing where we train medical, building, etc, folks, and have them work abroad to help these people who flood here and strain our system, by helping them to rebuild their own counties, etc.... I dunno guys, but we got to think differently, this same o' chit ain't working, |

Title: Re: dem debate Post by justin_o_guy2 on 02/12/16 at 18:42:21 If , in fact, the dems and bubs are opposed ideologically, AND the voters get upset with one party for passing some unpopular legislation, AND they Vote the bums out THEN WOULDN'T YOU EXPECT TO SEE THAT LEGISLATION REPEALED? But that never happens, so, WHO are they working for? They clearly don't Oppose each other. Nobody ever wants to talk about this, to me, Very telling point. IMO, being a card carrying bub or dem is just foolishness. Each party has been in the position of power to pass or repeal anything that they wanted. Neither has ever UNSCREWED the American People. |
