there was a listing of shootings that were stopped by a good guy with a gun.
run down that list till you find the school shooting stopped by students with guns

I wish the news media would stop associating the Kalamazoo shooter with Uber. See, Versy, you did it in the title of this thread. OK, he worked for Uber, but that fact has nothing to do with the event.

I'm not particularly a fan of Uber. I have never used them. However, I don't think a company should get a bad rep and possibly lose business just because one crazy guy worked for them.

From what I've read, the shooter had a clean background check. There was nothing to indicate any criminal or anti-social behavior. What is Uber to do? A background check on me would look the same. I could go on a shooting rampage tomorrow and no one would know that it was coming.

I use Uber all the time. Fantastic business model. It will do to taxi companies what the cell phone has done to landlines.
