Title: OK kiddies, who love to pretend......
Post by raydawg on 03/26/16 at 07:48:49

This excerpt is from CNN re: the killings at the soccer field yesterday by the MUSLIM TERRORIST.

You can blame the USA, or Bush, or?
But you are wrong.
As many have stated it religion gone amok by zealots, and until we understand that, and act accordingly, we will see more of the same until leadership begins to LEAD on the matter.

Why is it OK to stereotype people when it comes to marketing, and making money, off a certain racial, gender, ethnic groups, but its a PC no no when using the same technique to try and capture criminals?

Anyway...... the real reason behind the terrorist:

(CNN)A man wearing a suicide belt walked into an Iraqi soccer stadium Friday and blew himself up -- killing at least 25 people and wounding 90 more, security officials said.

A crowd had gathered for a ceremony to mark a championship for a popular local soccer team when the bomb exploded, the head of the Babil province security committee, Baydhan al Hamdani, told CNN.
A video posted on YouTube showed soccer players approaching a table holding trophies before an explosion occurred.

'This is al-Zarqawi 101'

Amanda Rogers, a research fellow at Georgia State University, said the group may launch more terror strikes as the Iraqi army retakes cities from ISIS.

"Given that they are losing their central territory, it would not be unexpected," Rogers said. "These strikes fit into the broader strategy."
Rogers said ISIS has long advocated attacks on Muslims who don't support its rigid interpretation of Islam.

That was a tactic endorsed by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the founder of al Qaeda in Iraq, the terror group that evolved into ISIS. Violence against Muslims caused a split between the late leader of al Qaeda central, Osama bin Laden, and al-Zarqawi, who died in 2006.

"What we see with ISIS doing now is an escalation of what we saw al-Zarqawi do, targeting Muslims first and foremost, whether they're in the refugee community or not," she said. "This is al-Zarqawi 101 and it's essentially gone global."
The Sunni Islamist extremist group has boasted about terrorist attacks around the world, most recently this week's carnage in Brussels that killed 31 people and wounded more than 300.

The city of Iskandariya is no stranger to violence.
It's located in what Allied forces called "the Triangle of Death" because of heavy fighting that occurred there a decade ago.
CNN's Mohammed Tawfeeq contributed to this report.

So....maybe these terrorist HATE us because we are giving them ( those escaping theses idiots)  a new life as refugees in our countries then, and they see THAT as an act against Islam, in their minds, eh?

You guys read this statement?

ISIS has long advocated attacks on Muslims who don't support its rigid interpretation of Islam.

And you think we can just play nice, as infidels, and they will except us?

WAKE UP AMERICA.....

Lets call a pig a pig, and go catch the SOB's, those innocent Muslims will be free of this scourge visiting upon them as well.....

So, you're calling for another invasion/occupation of Iraq?...
...'cause it went so well the first two times?... :-?

Right-Wing armchair generals are pretty flip with our soldiers lives...

Let's just leave not-well-enough alone.
We can only make things worse,... at the expense of more blood and treasure.

If you wanted Iraq 3, you shoulda' supported Bush 3...
(just for the symmetry)... ;D

Ray,

one question:

Have you served our country in the U.S. Military, under combat infantry command?

Pretty easy to sit back and just wait until....????

Obviously it is a very difficult problem, and has no simple fix.
But to think if we forgo calling them a certain name and just go on with our lives as if they didn't exists, well.....
That's working, huh.

I abhor war, and wish/pray it was never needed, but all of that will solve nothing if the opposing want only one outcome, theirs.

I know you think you are above it, but extending that reasoning to them solves what?

Will you become a Muslim, to end this craziness?

The Sound of Music was a great movie, but I am afraid running over the Alps to freedom is not presently an option  :-[

I registered for the draft, as required back then. I got my number and proceeded with the process. They assigned me 4F because of my profound hearing loss.
I was ready to serve, tho of course I was scared, but I felt it a duty.

I have a young son now who is of age if it came to that.
It scares the friggin daylights outta me to entertain such thoughts....

HOWEVER, thinking these terrorist will just go away without a fight seems an extreme long shot.

Will waiting only allow them to become more embedded in our society, with more innocent collateral damage of lives, be a real possibility if we just stick to the current passive actions?

I dunno...

PS: Why the caps, you yelling or what?

WOW! That kinda brought it home! My son will be 15 this year. If this mess continues (and it will), he could potentially be involved in it somehow.

In 1997, a U.S. Department of Defense report stated, “the data show a strong correlation between U.S. involvement abroad and an increase in terrorist attacks against the U.S.”

I never saw that. I didn't need that. I'm just paying attention to the obvious. Kinda like the idiots who needed a
Scientific Study
to understand that cigarettes are bad for you. I knew that long before the back and forth Studies had settled on the obvious.
I guess it's a dang rare American who sees the obvious here. We sent operatives in, stirred up trouble, and armed people.

Am I the only one who remembers the squad dressed up as locals who were captured, then a tremendous effort to break them out,  because Saddam would have been able to Expose to the world what was going on?

Nothing to see here,move along.

And WHY did we blow up the infrastructure the Libyan people NEEDED? I thought we were going to Save them from the madman. The madman who saw to it everyone was well cared for.

Nobody WANTS to know

The Butchering of Gaddafi Is America’s Crime
This article was first published on October 19, 2014.
This week marks the three-year anniversary of the Western-backed assassination of Libya’s former president, Muammar Gaddafi, and the fall of one of Africa’s greatest nations.

In 1967 Colonel Gaddafi inherited one of the poorest nations in Africa; however, by the time he was assassinated, Gaddafi had turned Libya into Africa’s wealthiest nation. Libya had the highest GDP per capita and life expectancy on the continent. Less people lived below the poverty line than in the Netherlands.
After NATO’s intervention in 2011, Libya is now a failed state and its economy is in shambles. As the government’s control slips through their fingers and into to the militia fighters’ hands, oil production has all but stopped.
The militias variously local, tribal, regional, Islamist or criminal, that have plagued Libya since NATO’s intervention, have recently lined up into two warring factions. Libya now has two governments, both with their own Prime Minister, parliament and army.
On one side, in the West of the country, Islamist-allied militias took over control of the capital Tripoli and other cities and set up their own government, chasing away a parliament that was elected over the summer.
On the other side, in the East of the Country, the “legitimate” government dominated by anti-Islamist politicians, exiled 1,200 kilometers away in Tobruk, no longer governs anything.
The fall of Gaddafi’s administration has created all of the country’s worst-case scenarios: Western embassies have all left, the South of the country has become a haven for terrorists, and the Northern coast a center of migrant trafficking. Egypt, Algeria and Tunisia have all closed their borders with Libya. This all occurs amidst a backdrop of widespread rape, assassinations and torture that complete the picture of a state that is failed to the bone.
America is clearly fed up with the two inept governments in Libya and is now backing a third force: long-time CIA asset, General Khalifa Hifter, who aims to set himself up as Libya’s new dictator. Hifter, who broke with Gaddafi in the 1980s and lived for years in Langley, Virginia, close to the CIA’s headquarters, where he was trained by the CIA, has taken part in numerous American regime change efforts, including the aborted attempt to overthrow Gaddafi in 1996.
In 1991 the New York Times reported that Hifter may have been one of “600 Libyan soldiers trained by American intelligence officials in sabotage and other guerrilla skills…to fit in neatly into the Reagan Administration’s eagerness to topple Colonel Qaddafi”.
Hifter’s forces are currently vying with the Al Qaeda group Ansar al-Sharia for control of Lib
