The point I take from these stories is, these terrorists are the enemy of all people, including Muslims.  Muslims more so than any others.

Fact is,.. more Muslims are suffering from these terrorist acts than than anyone else,... and the majority of our intel comes from Muslims trying to help stop these nuts.

So why insist on associating "Islam" or "Muslim" with these terrorists?...
It's disrespectful of those good Muslims that are our friends, allies, and those innocents being murdered.

Because while the truncheon may be used in lieu of conversation, words will always retain their power."  -V

I'm with ya Bot. Im in college classes with "Muslim" believers. Men and women who adhere to the teachings of Islam.

But yet they do not commit these acts of terror, why, because they UNDERSTAND the underlying truths within the doctrine, same as in all religious and secular doctrines.

Guys, guys,, the answer is So Simple,,, look, here's what you do.

Import them. Bring as many as possible HERE. Once they get a good dose of the love and harmonious and peaceful coexistence of the various cultures already here, they will simply become Americans, you know, like all the other minority elements of society. They won't be hyphenated, they will be Just like all the others.
Ohh, wait, uhh , scratch that...

What are the odds that they will not do here what they are doing everywhere else?

Yet bot wants to remove or prevent any Christian from political office because of his belief about "them" instead of judging each according to their ability......
Why do I think this runs against what he preaches about Muslims?

Why, because there Koran has implicit directives for how to deal with non-believers.  There handbook tells them to cut off heads of people like me.

Incidentally, which Muslims are our friends & allies?

Best regards,

For the left --

Name a few Muslim countries that are a pillar of stability, have an exemplary human rights record, and high standard of living.

'cause every single one of them is a Muslim ?

Every time there is a mass shooting, the lefties put the blame on 'gun owners", and think that's fair.

But every time an Islamic terrorist kills someone, or a bunch of someones, blaming Islam isn't fair.

Having it both ways it what that seems like to me. ::)

Far from it....it's the terrorism that's the problem, not their religion....
To focus on a mainstream religion because of the actions of their extremists is a little short-sighted, I think.
Blaming the terrorists is what needs to be focused on, which is something that the other (non-terrorist) billion-ish muslims are doing, and seeing them as fundamentalist extremists, rather than your regular everyday 'Ahmed'.

Both the regular muslims and the extremist militia both take the koran as 'gospel' (as it were) but do they believe the same thing and act the same way?

To emphasize this ridiculous generalization, I'll suggest that the Pope, Jim Jones, KKK, and Ian Paisley are/were christian extremists, have very different belief systems, and have very little in common with either the pilot of the bomber flying over the Middle East, or the guy who ordered the mission (as both are likely to be Judeo-Christian).
So let's not label them by their religion, eh?, but by their actions...

Muslims take the teachings of the Koran as guidance in their day-to-day lives.
Fundamentalists take the ancient texts and treat them literally, and as a group can be 'manipulated' by outsiders with a political/business interest (oil or arms manufacturers, politicians, for example).

Do you have ANY IDEA how many gun owners get smeared every time some goofball goes sideways?

Excellent point.....
Also, they love to call a abortion killing a Christian too. Remember in San Bernardino they first suggested it might be an attack on a nearby clinic....

But it's ok to associate all gun owners with the nutjobs that perpetrate the mass shootings
In addition, if said nutjob is right wing, that always gets mentioned, but if he's actually left leaning, it doesn't
Hmmmm
