Title: FBI vs. Apple, part 2
Post by oldNslow on 03/29/16 at 19:58:53

Regardless of who you were rooting for in this little spat, and why, I've got a pretty good idea who the real losers are.

Apple stood strong for it's invulnerability...  and found out it was a tin soldier...

Lesson here...  ...if you can build it, it can be broken...

"Show me a 50ft wall,... and I'll show you a 51ft ladder."...

Absolutes are illusion,... there are only shades of gray...

Absolutes are illusion,

Is that an absolute?

Remember..
Moderation in All things
Therefore, something must be done to excess.
Else, we fail to moderate moderately.

To say there are no absolutes is so open minded and mirrors tolerance of the person claiming such enlightenment......
Sorta like singing in the shower under the perception you can really carry a song.

It's all fuzzy. Situational ethics. No Real right and wrong.

Bull Crap. Absolutes exist, common core math doesn't stop 2+2=4 being the answer.

Walk off the roof. Tell gravity
That's not Fair.
Repeat until you understand.
Right and wrong exist. That some people are able to embrace and accept wrong as acceptable doesn't make it less wrong.
It just diminishes society. And LOOK at what's accepted and LOOK at the condition of society. And those who brought us here claim that the only reason we aren't doing great is because of the knuckle dragging conservatives who just can't grasp the advanced thinking, Which, BTW, NONE of the left will expound upon, and Explain what they want society to Be. Maybe they Can't say what society should be like, because everything is so fluid and shades of gray and always in a state of flux, since there are no absolutes.

Jog, I will hazard a guess as to why the left won't tell exactly what it is they want, and why.....
It's because they are victims, they react to outside stimuli instead of internal understandings.
Ghandi said be the change you wish to see in the world, no, they want to point out how others should change to make them feel better, etc.

It really knows no party lines, racial or gender, but I have observed it seems to be widely accepted by liberals.

No One is interested in discussing the implications of the FBI apparently using foreign hackers to break the encryption developed by an American technology company, and what that might mean for our national security down the road ?

Okay, never mind then.

I have/had no idea WHO offered and provided help. That it was Needed is not something I am able to grasp. After all, we DO spend more than the sum total of many nations on
Dee Fence and we ARE Number One. So, WHY are we so unable to accomplish Fukkalll? Can't find the guns pushed across the border, can't stop the influx of illegals , can't win wars, but WE ARE Number One.

Yeah, tattoo that inside your eyelids. So you can see it every time you blink.

OK. I'll rephrase the question I asked in a previous post to this.

"What are the implications of the FBI using foreign hackers to break the encryption developed by an American technology company, and what  might that  mean for our national security down the road. And I'll add, what might it mean to the security of other more mundane domestic encrypted networks like banking for example. Who are these folks that the FBI is in bed with ? The FBI won't say. And apple claims not to know how this was done.

It's not really a partisan question. I wanted to know what people thought.

And the pissing contest I was referring to was the lefty vs righty bullsh*t that the first replies pretty much consisted of.

I maintain my position.
I'm unable to believe that we Needed help.
IF in fact help Was needed AND we spend Multiple times the amount of money other nations do, then exactly What are we getting for our money? Does nobody else see this?

I use to enjoy his input, and gave value to it, but in my opinion he hasn't said anything substantive in quite a spell.

I have noticed how many on the left can't defend their positions, so ad hominem and diversion seems to be all they have.
