They are CHILDREN, inexperienced in Life. It's the Norm NOW, and it has Not been so forever, our news people deliver every story, same tone and cadence, unless they want to excite the masses. Gone is passion. Hammering on a podium, red faced and loud. It's now expected of people to stand up and talk about things that matter in a purely objective manner. So, you're facing a reporter who you believe has every intention of trying to make you look bad and she can't get the question out. Are you really just gonna sit there and twiddle your thumbs? She was SO cheap that she would not call after we moved twenty miles. Long distance? Aww, hayull naw! Before we moved, she would call, come over, eat, have fun. It ticked me off so bad that she was so cheap I called her once after chowing down on beans and rice. I didn't say a lot, but I said it with Pheeling,, We still laugh about that. It's been over 25 years, but my wife just loved it. |
