Title: Re: X plane dis.... x Post by Trippah on 01/28/17 at 19:43:39 The flow is receding, the wall is a decade past when it would have been useful. The Mexicans can find better jobs (our old ones) rather than slave labor rates building pools and flipping fast foods, and of course, taking care of our seniors at the hacienda del foggies. ;D ;D ;D |

Title: Re: X plane dis.... x Post by Trippah on 01/28/17 at 19:48:20 and yes, if you put a surcharge (tariff) of $100. on a Mexican build ford, the Ford Co in Mex pays it, then the the Ford Co in the US charges you an extra $110. when you buy it in, charging you both for the increase and the extra paperwork. Yes Tweetie, of course the "Mexican" will pay for the wall. Ha HA HA |

Title: Re: X plane dis.... x Post by Trippah on 01/28/17 at 19:51:17 Rawdawg, yes everyone pays if you increase the minimum wage, but (and it is the big but) at least it is going to working people who are being productive and will, if they ever make enough to live on, will reduce the tax money spent on welfare and the EIC. Isn't that what you want,, everyone to be working rather than collecting on the dole? |

Yes, of course, but the cost will be passed on, cost is always passed on to the consumer, even if that consumer is STILL making minimum wage..... However, it could bring them into a new tax burden if the IRS doesn't raise their thresholds too. |

Hardworking Americans would work towards independence by bettering themselves, and not be complaisant with working a minimum wage job in their 40's. Ultimately they will not be happen when they find that many of them are being replaced by automated machines that don't receive a paycheck. |
