That is sad and alarming.....
The death rate from crime.

This should be addressed, period.
It can not be allowed to continue.

I watched a documentary 3-4 years ago. It was on a High School I think in Chicago but maybe in Detroit. Anyway, 1 out of 3 Senior HS males are murdered before the graduate.

Without being able to see a decent future, without job prospects and the ability to lean back and dream of the day when you have a decent job, a family of your own, able to provide for yourself and your family, where is the motivation to BE a decent, law abiding citizen? There is nothing wrong that opportunity wouldn't fix.
