Ever seen ANY of his business ventures without his friggin' name on it?? Please, re-read my post above.  Those are all quoted from trump directly - not a speech written by someone else. All the things you mention are being done for effect - not for the benefit of the US, but for his image.  He is nothing but a showman. I'm sorry that I'm not wrong... it's only been a month, and look at what he's saying.  Look at what other countries are saying.  Look at his disaster of a press conference.  It's getting worse every single day.

That's your perspective I suppose - but the press is NOT our enemy - the blatant lies coming from trump's administration are.  Nearly everything he says off the cuff (not in a prepared speech) is bordering on lunacy.  The man can't make a point without repeating adverbs, he uses the first person when talking about pretty much anything - oh, and who was the last president to hold a rally a month after taking office???? This is not looking good... at least not to the majority of the country.
