That's a good question. I've had no reason to revisit my carb since I first jetted it, so over the years, I've forgotten. I'm fairly certain that I'm running a 152.5 Main and 52.5 Pilot and a #40 washer on the needle. I've also drilled out the fuel screw cover - start at 1.5 turns out and adjust as required.

The reason I think these are my setting is because this is what RYCA suggests in their tuning documentation (which they got from this forum) and it just worked for me. I used the #40 washer rather then shaving the spacer as shaving the spacer seemed unprecise and unrepeatable.

I'm running the RYCA quiet reverse cone and the K&N.

I just moved to NJ, and just got my Cafe conversion up and running again. Based on the elev. here and at Ryca, I figured that would probably be the setup to use as well. Seems I have other issues to sort out, as my carb is puking gas at part throttle. I keep at it and check the boards for troubleshooting. Thanks for the info.

A puking carb is due to either a stuck float or a bad petcock.

Running a Mojave tank with gravity petcock, may not be able to open them fully during normal operation. Float is good, but it's possible I have it upside down or the tab for the float needle is bent too far.

Sometimes a knock on the bowl of the carb with the fat end of a screwdriver will "cure" a stuck float. Of course if the tang is bent in the wrong position it will need to be properly adjusted.

Since you've ruled out the petcock, go ahead and wack the side of the float bowl. Nothing to lose.

Yeah, not too far.

On another note I sorted my carb issues:
Rookie mistake. When putting the carb back together for the first time I had an extra spacer under the e-clip above the spring, so it was not allowing the main needle to seat all the way. SMH. No wonder it was puking gas.
