When fashion designers refuse to serve Melania Trump because they don’t want to appear that they endorse her husband’s politics liberals are silent, but when others refuse to serve homosexuals because they don’t want to appear that they endorse their behavior liberals are vocally upset. Even If lefties pressured the designers to dress Mrs. Trump, they are still wrong. People have the right to choose who they work for. Run screaming. |

I found all sorts of excuses, and blame, and reasons, to ladle on life, and others. Collectively, I thought it excused me from having to except the same charge (of myself) that I willingly attached to others, things, etc, that I thought obstructed my life. If these things could only be removed from my life, society, etc, then my life would correct itself, accordingly. You see, I didn't choose to become an alcoholic, no.... It was a byproduct of having to medicate myself due to the pressures this world exhibited upon me. From TV commercials that showed if I drank their beer, I would be driving Clydesdale in the snow to a very betchin house, at Christmas time, where everyone would have to love me ;D To the scenes on the TV news, that showed maimed soldiers in Vietnam, to old folks, eating dog food because of our tax structure favoring the rich.... Jog, you have no right to challenge me, or why. Even tho you might be in possession of truth and facts, that prove my thinking in error. I do not have to accept them. Why? Because they run counter to the real truth in my life, that is why! You know what that truth was/is? Its because I would rather drink, than to face life, on life's own terms... Which translate to the understanding that I have NO CONTROL over life. It comes regardless of my actions or thoughts. All I have is myself, who, is the one person who has the CAPACITY to give himself what it is that I desire, acceptance. Love of self. Then if I love myself, why would I want to destroy myself with booze? Why do we choose actions that run counter to that of what we seek? The list is a biggie ;D But the list is as unique to each, and for each to uncover themselves. Though absolutes can help, if one has the strength to pick up that knowledge and use it to view their own life. Hey dude, thanks for the post that brought me back clarity..... :) |

You can NOT separate that from who and what we say we are, as a people, and a nation. Our founders made sure it was understood, and protected. Without going into PC'ness, and how it had the opposite effect, and a driving force as to how we ended up with Trump, in office. For every actions, there is a reaction.... I want to point out how wrong it is to judge another, by the "perceived" sins/actions, of someone else. Case in point..... Knowing what we now know about the ugliness and thought of the shooter at the baseball field... Lets use the same luxury these designers extend to themselves, as rationale to hold the first lady, accountable by association to matters they do not agree with, as guilty too. Those liberals who embrace the same ideology, tho sans actions of this event, are guilty as an accomplices, by the common linking of shared beliefs. Is that fair? No, of course not. But like a "believer" who kills an abortion doctor, because he believes murder is wrong, fails to see the irony of his own actions..... So is it with many. Sad, but it is what it is. PS/Edit: My wife reminded me how many of those I use to drink with, found excuses to NOT hang with me anymore..... Mind you, and my wife can testify to this as fact, I was, and am, the same F'd up crazy a-hole, nothing has changed. What they use to assign to me favorably, they now find as fault, and excuse to not socialize, etc. I lost nothing, some of them have lost all financial abilities to ascertain a decent life in their old age.... Some, I am sad to say, are dead. Yes, this mindset is an absolute, absolve yourself, hold others accountable. Its an absolute loser! |

(Ethanol Gas, is like waking into a bank, with 2, 1.00 bills, ask for quarters, and they give you 7 Quarters, and say: “Wow did YOU get a Deal”) CFL Light Bulbs. Mercury in our environment, ‘WAS’, going down. NOW, in Lakes, Rivers, Fish, Wells, Wildlife, it is going UP !!!!!!! Because, the, al gore, types got their hand in and said, EVERYBODY, HAS to Have them. NOT, Telling them, they Need to be, ‘Recycled’. WOW, that is, Really, “cleaning things up”.
