Far exceeds the value. Factor in the potential for exposure to the toxic stuff..

And WHO will pay for the radioactive waste care and safe keeping?
Will it be the people who made money Creating that waste?

They have two locations were this can be stored permanently. However, litigation & politics have prevented multi-billion dollar projects from being used.

Transporting it there is a completely separate issue though, no way around that. As it were, that crap has been sitting in storage tanks for 20 - 30 years.

Gosh,
I Guess, of the, 89.9 % of the land,
Owned by the Federal Government, in Nevada,
They, can’t find a place ?

(And the High % in Many Other States)

Gee:

BUT:
“The money was collected for one purpose and used for another,”

Wonder if that has something to do with it ???????????

Here's a thought.

Take 1%, of the current Salary, of ALL, Federal Employees.
And 1% of all, the, Pensions, of past elected, people, in the Fed Government.
Think it would come to 40 BILLION, real fast.
(From early 60’s on)

(Someone else will have to do the math, and determine what the salaries/pensions are.
If not 1%, then, 1.5% or 2%, etc.)

After all, are not these the people, that,
STOLE,
the Money that was collected in the first place?

Then, (not allowing, the two pecered, ’Skink’, that is ‘found’ in the middle of No Where, because a, ‘Buddy’ did the ’study’, and gave his/her, ‘Buddy’, who gave them the big money contract, to ‘Find’ a 2 pecered, ’Skink’, and give their, ‘buddy, a Kickback)

The problem could be solved.

By the Money, that was, ALREADY, Collected, FROM, EVERY Tax Paying Citizen.

The schmucks who haul mail, and I'm sure there are others where,
They are just Employees..
Who figured out a way to get through life nice and easy...
Our Government took our money and overpaid them.
And offered better retirement,,
The people who maintain flight simulators are contractors.
Bet That's a great job..

You think the profits went to politicians?
Shareholders in the utility.
Owners of stock,
Lots of people made money.
Some made tons.
I'd like to see the top people cover the cost.
They won't.
The people who scored big have had their wills read after the funeral.
