Post by raydawg on 07/25/17 at 08:53:03 Why would someone come participate on this board, then, not getting the affirmation of agreement, accuse others, of what they themselves represent, because of the opposing replies..... Then state they don't really care anyway. Isn't that sorta like talking to yourself? Why would someone even bother, if they don't care? We have seen the activity of this board diminish greatly, of late, why? I know some have shared with me the post/replies, get to them, which I will read as, makes them upset, etc. I have backed away before, when it seems like a waste of time. But that would mean I cared, enough to NOT, invest anymore of my energy into it. I don't go to an atheist message board, and witness, because frankly I know it would be a waste of my time.... I care about the unsaved, and wish them otherwise, but to get pushed back and use "I don't care, anyway" as my out...... Well, that appears to me a delusional disorder symptom. Here, I will CP its definition, what do you think (I really care, and WANT to know). Delusional disorder is a mental illness in which the patient presents with delusions, but with no accompanying prominent hallucinations, thought disorder, mood disorder, or significant flattening of affect.[1][2] Delusions are a specific symptom of psychosis. Delusions can be "bizarre" or "non-bizarre" in content;[2] non-bizarre delusions are fixed false beliefs that involve situations that could potentially occur in real life, such as being followed or poisoned.[3] Apart from their delusions, people with delusional disorder may continue to socialize and function in a normal manner and their behavior does not necessarily generally seem odd.[4] However, the preoccupation with delusional ideas can be disruptive to their overall lives.[4] For the diagnosis to be made, auditory and visual hallucinations cannot be prominent, though olfactory or tactile hallucinations related to the content of the delusion may be present.[2] To be diagnosed with a delusional disorder, the delusion(s) cannot be due to the effects of a drug, medication, or general medical condition, and delusional disorder cannot be diagnosed in an individual previously properly diagnosed with schizophrenia. A person with delusional disorder may be high functioning in daily life. Recent and comprehensive metaanalyses of scientific studies point to an association between a deterioration in aspects of IQ in psychotic patients, in particular perceptual reasoning.[5][6][7] According to German psychiatrist Emil Kraepelin, patients with delusional disorder remain coherent, sensible and reasonable.[8][dubious – discuss] The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) defines six subtypes of the disorder characterized as erotomanic (believes that someone is in love with them), grandiose (believes that they are the greatest, strongest, fastest, richest, and/or most intelligent person ever), jealous (believes that the love partner is cheating on them), persecutory (delusions that the person or someone to whom the person is close is being malevolently treated in some way), somatic (believes that they have a disease or medical condition), and mixed, i.e., having features of more than one subtype.[2] Delusions also occur as symptoms of many other mental disorders, especially the other psychotic disorders. The DSM-IV, and psychologists, generally agree that personal beliefs should be evaluated with great respect to cultural and religious differences, since some cultures have widely accepted beliefs that may be considered delusional in other cultures. I wonder if that explains some folk? Is their a derangement syndrome from too much negative news? It really begins to twist mind and its ability to discern and reason? When news run articles/stories, based on unsubstantiated and anonymous sources, treating it as "facts" isn't that akin to giving a gun to a bank robber? I think I will go and try to find studies on the effects of overdosing on too much negativity input. |

Somehow we will cure America s ills by hating trump. But to look at history and study what men in high position s have said and read books about how the federal reserve works instead of accept the propaganda from the government that Uses that Keynesian system against us is just wacky.. Sadly, the majority are conned and believe anyone who sees outside of their understanding as Conspiracy Theorists. Which was a term coined to squelch the discussion after JFK was killed. It's helpful for the weak minded, it gives them a cheap Out, and they don't have to think. |

You all seem to forget - there is a long history on this board. I've read some of it. My "tactics" are nothing short of what you (and a few others on the right) have done in the past. I've seen the browbeating of "snowflakes". I've seen you gang up on someone outside your viewpoint. It's classic. BTW - drop the whole "I'm a real democrat", huh? Let me be so bold as to address the "diminished activity" of this board. It's because you all can't take your own medicine. I proposed a set of rules to post by - it was rejected, and it has since been removed. No biggie to me - but you all seem to not mention that. You all complain about how "disruptive" I am, but when given a set of rules to follow - you all baulk. So come on down from the high horse ray - you don't fool anyone. Lastly, go look at your "More on medical insurance....." thread. A simple 'thanks' would have sufficed..... Obviously, I expect too much of this place... |

Lots of projections, summations, suppositions, however, it seems to me, those of your views, are the ones having issues with their prescriptions. Perhaps its because folks of a different bent, did not fancy another assault, on free speech, under the very tolerant PC banner you leftist seem fond of, to stifle the opposition, and the scrutiny of your own hypocrisies. Ganged up.......interesting. Again, that would seem to put the tolerant one, in the minority, as he either lacks willing brothers, to share his foxhole, as he is overran, OR, maybe they went to the pharmacy, to change the medicine....
