Yep, science is absolutely above suspicions, they nailed the outcome ;D

You couple that with hindsight, or what some might call facts, now....
And see how they are still spinning excuses as to why, and how it DIDN'T change the veracity to what they said in the first place. ;D

I don't think you can consider polling a science. No more than handicapping a horse race.

Nothing will change the outcome - but you can debate its effect on the entire political system today. As it stands, our president is destroying the republican party single handedly.

Trump is not a bub. And the entrenched establishment bubs hate him.

Trump is doing more than most will admit. Considering the hostile environment he's working in, I think he's doing good.

Let's see, they gather data.
They dissect that data, and enter in any other mitigating circumstances that might effect their conclusion, through all known entities......
Then, they hazard a guess, call it a theory, and then bet it on their livelihood, uh, like a horse race or any other unknown event.

But of course, you can call it whatever you need to, like a wang in some chicks mouth ain't sex, either ::)

The polling was accurate (psst - she won the popular vote) - their guess was off because it was within the margin of error... because... well.... it was a guess.

No, their polling was off dramatically. On election night, their storyline went from what's Trump's path to victory to what's Hilary's path to victory. Popular vote total was never in question and will probably always favor the democratic candidate for the foreseeable future.

Popular vote aside, Clinton retains a significant edge in the electoral college, thanks to the Democratic Party's structural advantages and the fact that Trump's unfavorable ratings are higher than hers. She has numerous viable paths to victory while Trump needs to run the table in the most competitive states.

Earlier in this story, it mentioned Trump pulling closer in 'other' polls presumably meaning ones that didn't show Hilary pulling away.

The point is, the MSM was shocked, absolutely shocked, she lost. Admit it, you were too. they had all the data in front of them to be genuinely alarmed but couldn't, wouldn't see it. That is the quintessential definition of fake news. The Mike Brown narrative is another example. all the data was available to question hands up, don't shoot, but their bias wouldn't let them see it. they connected dots that were never there.

If in 2018 the Democrats win in all the same places Hillary did, they loose 5 more house seats.
