It seems to me you use the failure of others, in justifying your own, a real I am a victim, to absolve yourself of that which you won't own.... In the bible a man was hauled off to court for debt. The man pleaded. He was granted reprieve, and told to appreciate and extend that goodness to others. He thanked the court profusely, and assured them he would. He left. He saw a person who owed him a debt. He demanded it be paid henceforth, or else. It was witnessed by another who reported what he saw to the court. The court called this man back, the one the court found mercy on. It questioned him why he did not give to others, what he himself was given? He pleaded once again for mercy and forgiveness..... The court turned a deaf ear to him and sentenced him to prison. Your ancestor?
