The New York Times published an almost 1300-word news story on Monday night about Democratic New Jersey Sen. Bob Menendez’s corruption trial, without ever mentioning Menendez’s party affiliation.
Both in print and on social media, the NYT failed to inform its readers that Sen. Menendez is a Democrat.

NBC News has published an article incorrectly claiming that New Jersey Sen. Bob Menendez — who is on trial for corruption — is a Republican. Menendez is actually a Democrat, yet in the lead of an article from Wednesday, NBC falsely identified him as a Republican. Confusingly, they later called him a Democrat in the same sentence.

THIS post isn't about the democrat who is in trouble.
It's about how the media will torture the reporting to avoid pointing out that the criminal is a democrat.
