“… he must not force other people…”
“…each  man must live in his self, and follow…”
“…his, (man), Highest  Moral  Purpose is the achievement of His own Happiness…”
“… he must follow his own Self Interest…”
“… it is immoral  to love, (care for), for man, above ones self…”
“… its is immoral to love, (care for), someone, without any standards…”
“… I object, to the idea that people have the right to vote on everthging…”
“… I do not believe in mans right to vote…”

Wallace asked, was she out to destroy,
 EVERY part of American life,
Religion, Scorn the concept of God,  Capitalism, Rule by the  Majority,  (Voting),
She said, ‘YES” !!!!!!!

Wallace made a statement, she replied:
“… Very Few, in the  WORLD, are worthy of, love, (Caring)…”

Little less than 1/2 way through,  I clicked off.
Don’t care to go to  a  B.S. or T&T, Rally.

Just to Note, Rand, was  Born and  EDUCATED, in RUSSIA.
She came here in 26,  And ONLY  in, 43  did she gain, ’some fame’.
then in 57, she finally, ‘published her best-known work’,
And this, interview, was in 59.

T&T  & Bot & Like,
Ya  Just  GOTTA  Be   Proud  !!!!!!

I doubt a lefty supports her.
She's not right on a lot.
She's spot on in some important places.

She was the only person from her family to survive the Bolshevik revolution, more than likely because she made it to America.  They took he parent's business which I believed was a pharmacy.  She saw the horrors of communism first hand.  She saw what was happening to America and wrote Atlas Shrugged as final warning about the perils of collectivism.

She was Godless, purely secular humanist. The part about being self determined, sure, but there is more.

Rand was born in 1905.
Early formative years, Listing to people around her, saying, how the Tsar’s, did not work.
Then seeing, the,  ‘Communal’ property,  ‘For the greater Good’, Socialistic system, not work.

Then coming to the State, Just before the Great Depression,
and seeing all that chaos.

In further study, no wonder her ideas were so mixed up.

Don’t know for sure, but I believe all these things, played a role, in her thoughts.

Understand her complete dislike of  Communism, Socialism,
from her growing up in Russia.
And perhaps her dislike of  Capitalism,  had something to do with  being here, and seeing what happened in 1929.

The things about, man, can not, take care of everybody, they have to do it themselves.
Which she Kinna ran around the words, yet it seemed like the base of  her thoughts.
  I  Agree with.

The parts about  not  liking or believing in.
Capitalism, Religion, Faith, Giving of one’s self for another.  (Father-Son/Daughter, comes to mind).
And having the people, (WHO  are the Government), voting who should represent them.
I certainly don’t agree with her.

So, just from that piece,  Probably, 1/4 or 1/3 good.
The rest, May, work in Australia,
but not in a  Free Nation like the USA.

from Wiki...

Quote:
"Although she rejected the labels "conservative" and "libertarian", Rand has had continuing influence on right-wing politics and libertarianism."

So  1/4 or so, of her ideas, are used by, ‘ Conservatives’.
While she SAID, she did NOT  Like, Capitalism or Conservatives ?

And the Rest, was, +  Liberation, and Socialistic.

        ?

Why do you believe that I can't, as a conservative or republican, have attitudes and opinions that align with someone who Says THEY have no appreciation for the conservatives or bubs?
It's not a sign that the platform is her creation.
I agree with her in places.
I've agreed with TT.
Rarely.

“…Why do you believe that I can’t, as a conservative or republican, have attitudes and opinions that align with someone who Says THEY have no appreciation for the conservatives or bubs?..,,”:

Of course you can. Like I said, there are about 1/4, that makes sense.
I  Agree  with some of it.
Yet when interposed with the rest, of the 3/4’s.
Some is very suspect.

“…It’s not a sign that the platform is her creation….”

I wouldn’t call, it ‘Platform’, that term to me is:
      (for example)
’The  Platform of the DNC, is to  remove ALL  Firearms.’
(Which many of the DNC  do NOT  agree with, but to GUTLESS  to take a stand)
I Believe it is her, ‘Ideas’, which many people follow, ‘word for word’,
not knowing the base behind those words.

“…I agree with her in places….”
Yea, so do I.   In  Places.

“…I’ve agreed with TT…”
Yep, I have also, “RARELY”.
Yet don’t admit it,
        as don’t want his  Mommie,
to have to buy him a  New Hat.
;D   ;D   ;D   ;D   ;D   ;D   ;D  ;D
