Ray , I don't give a crap ! All the owners are pu$$ies being afraid that they may be sued for violating free speech of their over paid players ! Taking a knee , holding hands what a bunch of drama queens someone needs to remind them that they are on the clock and being paid. All these pro sports suck cause of just a few jerks that don't get enough attention. If they want to protest they should do it on their own time not on mine when I want to watch the 49ers get their a$$ kicked. I'm so sick of all this crap I no longer watch or support any teams ! My new sport of choice is MMA , watch 2 guys kick the crap out of each other and no whining ! How refreshing !

You do know MMA is scripted dance. The first modern sports protest that gained notoriety was the raised fist on the podium during the Olympics (which as we all know was NOT "professional" sports. ;D

I remember it well.
I have read up on this event, and the interviews of the guys who did this.
It is a tough call.
They felt their voices were neglected.
I can not argue against that, nor can anyone else really.....
For we are ALL entitled to how we feel, and how to express it.

It would be nice if we had such a platform were we could get honest dialogue on issues and problems.
But it appears too many filters and control of events, is handled by others, who might not like to relinquish that control, stands in the way of openness.

They felt they needed to do something else to by-pass these filters.

They raised their fist.

Much like the deplorable voted for Trump.

Two months ago, the most important thing was tearing down old statues.
Two weeks ago, it's was kneeling at NFL games.
Today, its Dr Seuss is racist.

Liberals are strange creatures. Maybe we should put one of those tracking collars on ghem so we can learn how they tick vause it doesn't make any logical sense.
