Title: Massivetwoshits Post by justin_o_guy2 on 10/20/17 at 19:39:02 Is full of massholes. https://legalinsurrection.com/2017/10/ma-liberals-try-to-destroy-business-after-owner-photographed-with-trump/ It's just what tolerant people DO! |

Title: Re: Massivetwoshits Post by Trippah on 10/21/17 at 05:28:21 Gee, I thought freedom of association was a hallmark (not tm) of a free society. You can march with Trump or not. You can take your custom to whomever you want. You can wear white robes and carry torches, or not. But whatever you do, it happens not in a vacuum so every choice has consequences. I see no tolerance issue, I see people voting with their dollars. What will be more fun is how much the fan base for the Patriots will erode given Kraft's Trumpism.............. and I wonder how much of this season's lackluster performance by the Patriots is due to this issue. ;) |

Title: Re: Massivetwoshits Post by justin_o_guy2 on 10/21/17 at 06:18:54 Yep, freedom of association IS what I believe in. And when people who were perfectly satisfied with the establishment suddenly become dissatisfied? How did the service change? Did he suddenly become a jerk? No, his crime is being associated with Trump. And if that's what you lefties call being open minded, you're exactly No better than the KKK and Nazis you savage daily and accuse people who disagree with you of being. A55holes, |

Title: Re: Massivetwoshits Post by MnSpring on 10/21/17 at 10:40:39 Bit of a Difference. Conservative groups, started by saying, (to whit), Going to, ‘say’, with my feet and money, certain businesses, will no longer get my business. Now the, Liberal groups, have started saying the same thing. (Propaganda 101) If this keeps up, they will be, a, Conservative store right next door to a Liberal store, BOTH, selling the same thing. Both having a customer base. However this is, ONE, GLARING, Difference. The Conservative, saying: “I will not do business with you” The Liberals saying: “I will not do business with you, and if you DON”T, do things MY way, I Will BURN your Store DOWN, with you in it” Even happening here, when one member says: “Oh, and for the record, I do indeed support the ideals of ANTIFA” And through, his/her, posts, ANY ONE ELSE, that expresses a idea/opinion, Or gives a statement of, ‘Observed Reality” IS, WRONG. (Well unless it meets and is the same ideas of the, self professed, 'ANTIFA', Supporters) |

Title: Re: Massivetwoshits Post by raydawg on 10/21/17 at 11:27:28 I agree 100% Trippah...... The Pats owner should suffer for his "marketing" choices, that is how capitalism works. Not only that, it is the best, and most fair/accessible vehicle for commoners to access. It the game of politics, we see how the lobbies, and wealth, gets the attention of the politician, their concerns get addressed first. The common voter minimized, preaching that the other choice is worse, fear them, I am not perfect, but they will make your life miserable, etc.... But we can have an effect in the market place, where the rich make their wealth. Then they will not have the luxury of buying a politician, if their budget gets too tight to allow it. Actions should have consequence and consideration. If the owner is too tight with Trump, or any other affiliations, let folk exhibit their displeasure by not supporting the franchise on the field, and all through its marketing venues. On the flip side, players wishing to exhibit their own personal expression on the time folks "purchased" to be entertained, etc, the same extension of displeasure can, and should be extended to them, on the very same merit of argument that they (players) grant to themselves as just cause. I think what we are seeing is a silent majority finally accessing their rights to show, and voice, their displeasure under the very same "rights" that others used against them (their beliefs, etc). No longer constrained by/of just one point of view/belief, as being right, we are seeing folks break free from these constraints and cuckolding of their dictates, all throughout all segments of our society. Those who were impinging others, now claim foul, and want to assess penalties. Those who have finally recovered a fumble, what a chance to call the plays.... (keeping with football analogies ;D ). It seems disruptive, mean, dispirited, chaotic, and it is..... But remember, and this is the BIGGEST fact to consider when trying to understand this point of time in our nation..... Democracy has never been executed, in this world, the way the USA is playing. All other systems of governance seem to have a more historical expectation, and execution, and the citizenry must fit within its confines... Not so, with democracy, its more of a bootlegged play, ever growing and changing, only constrained by its basic concepts and foundation, as like a home upon where we live, raising a family, etc. We can extend a foundation to encompass a growing family, our modify the existing, to accommodate changes in our lifestyles.... This really is freedom to live as we choose. Presently we are just arguing over what color to paint the new rooms, nothing more. From all this bickering wisdom will root, the false colors, forgotten, and new fans will return to the stadium once again. The FREEDOM to be different is what AMERICA democracy is all about. Many have given their lives, both here, and abroad, to this promise..... If in our disagreements we honor those who gave the most, I believe we will build a mansion that has rooms for everyone who wants to enter. Can I get an AMEN :) |

Title: Re: Massivetwoshits Post by justin_o_guy2 on 10/21/17 at 11:38:54 Freedom of association is right. someone chooses to avoid certain people who lefties embrace, He's a bigot. A baker doesn't want to bake a cake Absolute Nazi. But destroy someone who You LIKED yesterday? Perfectly reasonable. And you wonder why I don't take you people seriously. Jokes, absolute jokes. |

Title: Re: Massivetwoshits Post by Trippah on 10/21/17 at 15:33:09 Actually, declining to do business with a company whose leadership concepts you disagree with is a good way to display your dissatisfaction; better I think than simply taking a knee. For instance, if you feel sexual harassment is bad, then do not go to any entertainment touched by the Weinstein Corp. Or if you disagree with the Supreme's decision in Hobby Lobby vs Obamacare then stop utilizing that chain. Voting with you wallet is an excellent form of supporting those you agree with, but not those you disagree with. |

Title: Re: Massivetwoshits Post by justin_o_guy2 on 10/21/17 at 16:21:25 Yep, you're correct. The same place where they have been going to for years is suddenly enemy territory. Preaching tolerance, acting like a55holes. Good going. |

Title: Re: Massivetwoshits Post by Trippah on 10/21/17 at 19:11:32 Your responses, jog, are wonderful examples of history repeating itself. My point is, when you learn something new (and to you distasteful) about someone whom you have been supporting, you as a customer has every right to withhold further custom. You think that because you did business with a company for years, you have to continue? No, absolutely not. Are you upset because people are changing due to political issues, or would it be just as valid as racial, religious etc ?. Think of all the wealthy "toadies" who have bellied up to the Trump trough, as new members at Del Largo and Bedminster, etc. Should they be prohibited just because they are Trumpeting? :) I don't think so. It's freedom of association. Note: I am not convinced the affirmative action laws were Constitutional, despite what the Supremes ruled at the time. |

Title: Re: Massivetwoshits Post by justin_o_guy2 on 10/21/17 at 19:46:00 You're 100% , exactly, perfectly correct. It's just a little odd to me that the guy has been a good guy, didn't shove his ideology down the customers throats, and the We love everyone crowd Hates him now. The game plays both ways, I see. A coffee shop got shut down because the owners idiot daughter posted a cop hating load of crap. Cost her her job and destroyed her mom's world. Idiots everywhere.. |

Title: Re: Massivetwoshits Post by Trippah on 10/21/17 at 19:59:49 OMG -jog- we agreed on something (don't let anyone know. :D). Yes, it does go both ways, which is why I always caution people on our Freedoms of Expression and Association. Every declaration has unintended consequences so it had better be important to you, you may be called to pay the piper. I was.. :D |

Title: Re: Massivetwoshits Post by justin_o_guy2 on 10/21/17 at 21:33:13 I agree with the principle. I just think we're getting petty. I'm more Able to grasp the pain on the coffee shop. But watching a woman destroyed by her idiot daughter rips me up. |
