Had a wedding to go to today,
(Grand Niece)
my role, was to get Mom (95), to the church for photos.

While I was dressing in my seldom used, 3 piece.
Wife had the TV on.
A Commercial: For ’Teachers”.
(Yada-Yada, soft soap, wanna be, tear jerking)
Then at the end:
“Be a Teacher, you can Teach students what to think”

Wait, that’s what got us in the Mess in the first place.
That is what is, CONTINUING, to tell people to:
’Stand in the Street and CRY”

Teachers, are to, ’Teach’, HOW to LEARN,
so the students can, ’THINK”, for them selves.

Teachers, should not, ’teach’, ‘WHAT’, to think.
But, ‘HOW’, to think !

Tell your local, ’teachers’, and School Board,
“ Teach, ‘HOW’, to think, not, ‘What’, to think”

Paraphrasing, ’Smokey Bear’,
‘Only You, can prevent, Stupidly’.

At least they are finally admitting it.
No telling how many people believe that is what they are supposed to do.

If you heard correctly,.. that's an example of poor scripting... not a statement of fact.
I used to write PSA's,.. and that would have never passed committee muster... even in my day.

I remember watching a interview at a school of journalism.
The question was posed, "Why do you want to be a journalist?"

The right answer was, "So I can help change the world."

WTF........

Since when is reporting scripting your desires?

Note: I pose the question in a rhetorically, see 1-B

I am sorry I have to do this, but some here get anal over stuff like that, inadvertently keeping them from addressing the real question, or topic at hand.

NOT a rare occurrence.
And the fact that is was written,
then edited,
then passed some sort of, ‘review’, board.
Then, Aired on a TV Station.

Rather hard to believe it was a mistake,
But rather a Intentional, ‘Statement’.

That would have never gotten past several people,
1, or 2 generations ago.
Yet in todays lack of teaching, of, how to, Learn.
It could probably be called, ‘Subliminal’.
