Title: What does this mean? Post by raydawg on 11/11/17 at 15:33:02 Mendoza and Alvarez said the firings had nothing to do with the complaints. Liberty, though, said her client made clear she was accusing Mendoza of sexual harassment toward the fellow, and she was forced to sign a confidentiality agreement when she was fired. Liberty would not name her client and did not provide a copy of the confidentiality letter. I believe Harvey Weinstein had women sign these too....why? Is it binding, why? Is it even legal? I thought cohering was not legal.... The article, I think this is TT's boy he stated was going to beat Dianne Feinstein http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/11/11/harassment-case-puts-democratic-senate-candidate-in-california-under-spotlight.html |

Title: Re: What does this mean? Post by MnSpring on 11/11/17 at 17:47:19 Don’t know. Their are several Thousand of cases, (which after in court) Both sides say, ’Settlement has been reached’ And if it a big, ’news’, worthy event, the person who received the, ’settlement’, Can ONLY say: ‘A Settlement has been reached’. Also called a, “GAG Ordered Settlement”. That, ’seems’ to be legal. So perhaps a ‘contract’ which says: ‘I am Going to Rape you, and you can not say a Word’. (and the person Raped/Abused, agrees and signs) Is also perfectly all right. But, will Never see, either one of those ! |

Title: Re: What does this mean? Post by raydawg on 11/11/17 at 19:48:25 Wait a minute...... Are you saying a person can buy off a crime? If punitive damage, I can see that, however if it's a crime, that goes past a civil charge, and our system of law still needs to be satisfied, I would think. Wow, this smells like aristocracy, or better yet, slavery..... |
