It's a long list of companies that are giving bonuses and pay raises.

It's GONNA affect the economy.
And a bunch of the people who are benefiting are democrats.

And exactly ZERO democrats Voted to diminish the tax burden on the People.

When the People start to be able to stay afloat more easily, come next election, the bubs are gonna clean up.

That's IF we don't go to war and the federal reserve doesn't jack interest rates up and screw stuff up.

No your premise is all wrong.

The "popular" left will continue to veer to the left, and leave folk like me adrift.
Their argument will basically be more money equals more assistance to others.

The Moore republicans types will drag that party more to the right, leaving many with no one to vote for.

The next president will be mid stream.

2018 will be a mishmash of local politics and popular ideas pushed on a national agenda.... or maybe just all women ;D

Whoever can bridge the divide will be the person(s) to win.

Bonuses for about 350,000 employees out of the current work force in the US of 127 million.
My math shows that 126.6 million won't see any bonuses. That's only 0.002% of the total work force getting a raise or bonus. (two thousandths of one percent).
It sounds good till you do the math.

I'm just showing you the math behind the spin.
Do what you want with it. I'm just presenting the facts, not debating any of the other stuff you are trying to drag into this.
Bonuses and raises are great for the 0.002% but doesn't affect the other 99.998%.

Could we not add up the total dollars collected by the top one percent, and show how they pay more than others, by using a comparison criteria like you did?
I’m guessing it would be a revealing number as well....???

When disposable income increases spending increases. Spending in the community affects the local economy. A slight uptick is an uptick. We've been watching slow belt tightening incrementally driving things down. The percentage of people getting bonuses may be small, but if corporations are willing and able to do This, they expect growth. If this turns into a situation where even the one eyed have to admit that things are better, then the democrats get crushed.
Why wouldn't that happen?

The establishment can tank this.

Yeah, Ed, the number of people getting bonuses isn't statistically significant on a walk by, but if they were unemployed tomorrow, then it would be. So, if it's enough to matter, I think it's enough to matter.

Before everyone celebrates too long, another shoe is yet to fall.
How many will loose their health care and vote to restore Obamama care. How many will see incredible increases in their health care insurance bills and see a net loss in disposable income during the year?

And yes, come April, I'll be polling you all on your tax savings to see how many got the 2 grand ;D ;D.

To some folks, that is real money.

Will it matter, spin or not, nope.....

Folk already have a "belief" and they only search out that which affirms it.
Its the way most folks are wired, they see any opposition as a threat, or challenge, seeing their own duplicity, or hypocrisy, is not what they look for.

It is no different than I use to look for a reason to drink, now, I know that thinking was the pitfall to my thoughts and following actions.

Its easier to blame, than to be the one to change by exampling....

The math IS. Can't argue with that. What the effects on the economy will be and long term effect on the attitudes of the People BECAUSE Of the changes is up for discussion. I've made the case for why I believe the People will be positively impacted.
