Title: Re: Why I trust them Post by Eegore on 12/28/17 at 08:28:52 I think part of this problem all along has been that these guys use protesters before they use a strategist that can legally help them. The Dept of Army wanted to take tons of ranch land in CO and all the protesters just caused problems. We had to defund the Ft Carson expansion by going after the Pentagon. No land was taken but it will be an ongoing battle. Shooting Government employees, standing around with guns and carrying copies of the Constitution didn't get us anywhere. Why aren't these guys going after the Centers for Biological Diversity, who is sueing the BLM to do all this? |

Title: Re: Why I trust them Post by justin_o_guy2 on 12/28/17 at 10:24:00 The government withheld exculpatory evidence and tried to frame the People who have been legally using the land. The government is doing things that it shouldn't be doing. |

Title: Re: Why I trust them Post by Eegore on 12/28/17 at 18:42:55 I notice that in the reports and it is unfortunate. I do still wonder why they haven't pursued multiple avenues of defense, instead of only gathering and protesting. |

Title: Re: Why I trust them Post by justin_o_guy2 on 12/28/17 at 19:33:58 Do you know the story? The number of families who were driven out? How many years of abuse these people have endured? The attacks, fires? And how would someone go about stopping a government agency? |
|
Title: Re: Why I trust them Post by Eegore on 12/29/17 at 05:52:20 I only know how we did it in CO. Stopped a multi-million dollar expansion of the largest Dept. of Army facility in the state. We had to defund the project from the other side. I don't know what strategy, if any would work for the people in the article but I do know that carrying the Constitution in their pockets, doing interviews and claiming rights hasn't worked. Outing the Government fraud is a good thing, if it can be pursued, who knows. |

Title: Re: Why I trust them Post by justin_o_guy2 on 12/29/17 at 08:52:24 There used to be a ton of cattle, and several more families. It's a long story. JFK said Make peaceful protest impossible and you make violent revolution inevitable. Or close to that.. The government is wrong here. And the protests you're saying were ineffective were enough to get a lot of attention. But it's not what they needed. I guess that's the fault of the People. We should unite against the government when it's wrong. Of course, THEY have the media to paint the good People as crazy constitution waving morons and people like me who knew what was going on get the You're a conspiracy theorist treatment from brainwashed Dumbmasses, who are conspicuously silent NOW.. They don't want to remember. |

Title: Re: Why I trust them Post by Eegore on 01/03/18 at 05:18:51 Reminds me of how people don't like bikers because they all run drugs and start fights. Get all bikes off the road and lock up anyone riding one. |

Title: Re: Why I trust them Post by justin_o_guy2 on 01/08/18 at 17:40:39 I'd like to see the criminals who tried to Railroad the Bundy clan Get Exactly the prison time they were setting them up for. I'm pleased to see justice done and congratulate an honest judge. I wonder how many people are in prison or had their lives destroyed by the FBI and their lab results. |

Title: Re: Why I trust them Post by raydawg on 01/08/18 at 19:30:43 Weird..... Love to hear the whole story |

Title: Re: Why I trust them Post by justin_o_guy2 on 01/08/18 at 19:49:29 It goes back years. The government has been slowly driving people off the land. Remember when steak was affordable? The Bundys were surrounded and fires started, cows burned, it's been a real ordeal. And the government men straight up murdered a guy. |

More than one. Bunch of kids too. But those are other stories; other times. Now they are engaged in trying to take down a duly elected president. Without resorting to outright homicide at least. So far anyway. Department of Justice. Even Orwell would have been impressed with the irony of the name of that outfit. |

Title: Re: Why I trust them Post by oldNslow on 01/09/18 at 05:23:28 The Bundys and their friend were very, very lucky I think. This case could have very easily been assigned to a different judge, with an entirely different outcome. Until there are actual consequences for the parties involved in this kind of malfeasance nothing is going to change. And by consequences I don't mean "agent so-and -so was reassigned to the field office in Hawaii" and "prosecutor whatshisname will retire next month with his full pension and benefits." The BLM isn't going to just lick it's wounds and ride off into the sunset either. Sessions says he's gonna investigate. That'll go exactly nowhere. |

Title: Re: Why I trust them Post by MnSpring on 01/09/18 at 12:36:31 Very VERY, few knew what, ‘Ruby Ridge’, was, until after, WACO. In a Nut shell, Randy Weaver, was hiding out on a firearms charge. In a initial encounter, (Weaver Defending), a FBI agent was killed, And then the FBI, (Like Waco), decided to SHOOT, and KILL, His 14 year old Son, his 43 year old wife, and their dog. On a 11 day siege. http://www.history.com/this-day-in-history/incident-at-ruby-ridge Weaver & Harris, surrendered, at the end of the FBI Siege. Harris was acquitted of all charges. Weaver was acquitted of all charges except for the original bail condition, and, for having missed his original court date. He was fined 10,000.00 Served 24 months in jail. After, EVERYBODY, in the Fed Government, LIED. And it was PROVEN so. Weaver Sued; the FBI, the ATF, (USAO), the Federal Gov., And after 4 years he was awarded 3.1 MILLON, In a OUT OF COURT, settlement. Wonder if Bundy, will do the same. It sure looks like he has cause to do so. |

Title: Re: Why I trust them Post by justin_o_guy2 on 01/09/18 at 12:55:32 I've been following the Bullshit for years. Not the News, but the Back Channel leaks, the Bundy side, the independent reports, and I have been expecting them to be railroaded into prison. Seeing this fall apart for the feds pleases me to no end. Weaver was set up by a guy working for the FBI. Entrapment, IIRC. |
