Is there an easy mod for a larger gas tank with level indicator?

This topic has been around for a while in several threads. The quick answer is nothing is "easy". Several of us have mounted tanks from other bikes, and they all require some modification and different levels of skill to get the conversion made.

Use the "search" function or scroll through the index.......or look through the "Bike Builds" to see what others have done. Maybe some of the members will provide a link to their conversion - I believe MMRanch may have found the easiest conversion to get a bit more fuel - but it does not have any gauge.

Here is a link to the "search" page......this search needs some information filled in to be productive - you need to fill in how far back you want to look, and use the "all" if you don't know how long ago the post occurred. Also choose to have only one result from each thread.

This is one of my major complaints about this bike. I like to go on 200-300 mile rides on weekends, and up in the mountains, one can't be sure there will be a filling station around when you need one!
