Then at the last moment, they spring the news, do a quick study, while a cloud hangs over Hillary.....

You don't see that those emails CAME from somewhere? Hillary had them, but Why would Huma forward them to Him?

T hey hadda let her slide for several reasons. One was
Obama used that insecure system, knowing it was insecure, as did others.
Properly investigated and prosecuted this would jail a buncha people.

Just think if it had come out earlier, it would have left time to repair it/spin it.....

As the claim is basically the same charge, and I believe it had already factored into the poll numbers, etc.....
Which still had Hillary winning.

That number went into flux when it was inadvertently released, and the impact it had might not ever be known.

I always wondered why Hillary got in the race so soon, it left her exposed.
She didn't need name recognition, she already had that.

She doesn't come off well ad-lib, etc.

I just keep defaulting to thinking they believed they really needed to direct the narrative in a big way, because of so many lies and deceptions in her past.

What we Know
The emails were known about.
The Investigators Sat on that information.
I can only look at what I know and think about Why would they
Sit on it
Unless they were trying to protect her?
Why did it surface when it did?Maybe someone who wasn't trying to protect her threatened to leak out the fact that Comey was suppressing evidence.
Who? Someone who knew about the discovery and wasn't corrupt.

Whoever it was was waiting for Comey to say something publicly about the new evidence.
It wasn't happening and the election was coming up.

Considering that we have words from Comey laying out Reasons to prosecute her, and a decision to not, believing she was being protected from New and Prosecutable evidence was suppressed isn't exactly stretch of the imagination.

No, I agree with all of that, maybe it wasn't that they felt a tingling sensation going down their leg with Hillary, no....
But the alternative was even worse in their collective minds, which we have seen linger up to today even, as all the predictions about Trump winning never having been realized.

Gloom and doom prediction was their only "trump card" they had to play ( dang, I am so clever ) as Hillary was a colossal bag of damaged goods and could not run on her stellar reputation.

They honestly defaulted to her via the reasoning of the lessors of two evils.

Not so much sinister and devious, but more out of their own perceptions and concerns, they weaved this web that now appears more, and more likely, to entangle them as well......

Lesson to be learned, don't try and massage the truth, for reality will always win out over deception, for whatever the reasoning.
