Just watched the movie. Based on events. It's a bit of a history lesson inside of a murder investigation. Some Nicaragua and Taiwan arms dealing, government sanctioned murders to keep Taiwan from being able to set up a democratic government. 23 nations recognise Taiwan as an independent country. We aren't one of them.

We don't recognize Formosa as an independent nation as part of Richard (Dare I say Tricky thingy's) Nixon's make nice with China policy..all so we could open that incredibly large market. He said the US companies will make a fortune selling to the millions....almost worked out, they took all the jobs. Just another Republican make America great again program. ;D

The bad trade deals have been very much both parties. It's not one. It's both.

Yah, but after NAFTA, the flow of immigrants across the US border reversed -more now going back to Mexico where all the jobs went. ;D

And don't forget all the cute Moose figurines we get from Canada..if it weren't for NAFTA they probably couldn't have horns.. ;D
