Title: Now what?
Post by raydawg on 02/16/18 at 15:17:53

I hope we can get some real honesty about the Dossier, etc, and move past it.
I feel deeply in my being, that Michele Obama was privy, and sick, about the Clinton political machine......
That she counseled Barrack, but in a weird sense, they knew they too were ensnared.
The only way out, Hillary had to win.

I just hope MY PARTY will rise above this ugly scar, much like the repubs had to get past Nixon.

The Queen of Gotcha, and her face shall never be seen as viable again.
I hope those who can, rehabilitate by seeing their duplicity and change, and become a healthy source of information upon which we can learn how power corrupts.
Those who pride and ego, hate, and fear, won't let them, bury them with the queen, as deserving.

We, as a country, can not afford a lopsided 2018 election of one party rule, we have just witnessed the effects of a tyrannical coup, lets not chance another....

I plead with my party, move forward, bring ideas, hope, not scorn or bitterness, or revenge.

Why ask questions you have no intention of answering, or finding the answers to?

Over and above that... what is "your" party?

You have ZERO democratic posts (psst - liberals are democrats...)

LOL - you don't know a single one?

Yeah, that's pretty much proof you're not a democrat.  You sound just like a conservative/alt-right.

Thanks for nothing.

Democrats want,... healthcare for all, reasonable gun control, fairness in wages, clean environment, policies for the people not corporations, access to education, money for infrastructure instead of military, help for the poor, handicapped, sick, and needy, ...and swirled peas...

I could go on... :-?

Title: Re: Now what?

Healthcare was easier before the HMO fiasco.
Please, remember this, I'm tired of explaining.
I had insurance with BCBS, I could walk in any office and get treated like I mattered. It was about thirty bucks a month.
Then came the HMOs.
And with that
An entire new job for thousands of people, and a college class,
We CREATED a parasitic career field and attached it to the health care industry.
Gee, why Did costs go up?

I could go on, too.

Your concept of
Common sense gun laws
Just might not be as sensible as I would want.
Let's arm people to defend themselves.
The left have been driving the societal change for decades.
I'm ready for you guys to sit down and watch how adults do it.

I've learned you don't want dialogue, you want to argue and debate
yours is the only proper conception, all others need to learn from you..
how many times have you posted you are "done" only for you to keep beating the same dead horses again?
I give you Libya as a prime example.

Have you admitted you were duped by Obama yet?
Or are you ready to explain why we destroyed Libya?

Are you able to explain why they shoved HMOs into a system that was working and HMOs could only drive costs up and limit access?
All you deep thinking lefties refuse to defend your own crap, and pretend it's because I don't want to discuss it.
We, get with backing up your side.
I've been clear.
I've explained
So, if there is some lack of communication
It's because you guys won't logically argue your own points.
Why is that?

Edit
FWIW, Iraq was on the list long before Obama was president.
The question now is
Will Trump follow the plan and invade any of the others on the list?

In all fairness, as I sit wasting my time because it’s snowing outside....

Jog and Lost Artist have recently had some nice dialogue,
Maybe if folks just started explaining their beliefs and position instead of calling the opposition stupid, etc, we ALL might possibly benefit?

HMO's were designed to limit the ever rising  costs of healthcare that neither government or businesses wanted to pay.  Rather than having people say the government is denying medical care to Grandma (a Republican war cry for a decade), of having companies face bankruptcy  (corporate America shirks it duty was the Democratic war cry) they decided to woo people with the option of lower cost programs with some limits on access etc.

The whole layer of people who code encounters, and then another layer of people wo decode the same..well they are to some degree replacing low level insurance company staff who did similar jobs before the HMO's.

I have mentioned that since the 60's, the doctor office staff of 1 receptionist, 1 nurse and 1 doctor for primary care has disappeared.
But again, we demand so much more.  The shift has started where primary care doc's monitor and help guide a patient through an ever more complex medical system, and the recent advent of Urgent care centers for triage unless an emergency room (so much more expensive)
is obviously needed.
But if you have pain in the chest it now costs thousands for xrays and ekg.s (as well as blood tests) to rule out heart attack and give you some Gavicon for your heartburn.

Title: Re: Now what?
Post by Trippah on 02/18/18 at 14:01:55

We want everything possible done and yet, we do not want to pay for it.

The reality was, and I suspect still is, that almost 2/3 or the medical cost the average person incurs is during the last week or month of their lives when we, as a society, demanded extreme and excessive care of our loved ones who would die soon anyway.  No one was willing to simply say, gee its time.

The percentage of people who work primarily on health care:  EMT/firemen, doctors, RN'sNurses, NP.s war staff, LPNs, receptionist, medical coders and billers, office managers, practice managers, and the support staff from all the medical device manufactrues, and the pharma business  (oops, I could go on but dinner calls)  but yu get my point I suspect.

Title: Re: Now what?
Post by raydawg on 02/18/18 at 14:06:51

I think this speak much volume: We want everything possible done and yet, we do not want to pay for it.

I can't help extend that reasoning further along to another life riddle.....

I demand respect.

Perhaps folks just don't see the difference with a square peg, and a round hole?

Thanks Trippah, you always give me food for thought  :)

No TT, you tried to play a game and you lost.

I've been making the same points, over and over and NOBODY CONTESTS THEM, they just pretend they don't exist.
And then act like they didn't get an explanation they never got from any news source or anyone else.
Nobody wants to argue against me.
I don't blame them.
The obvious points are Right There.
So, either stand up and say something or admit that I'm probably onto something.
