So, does Trump even know what merit based actually means? Trump's daughter, her husband, top advisors, why? They have zero experience in government or even policy. But sure, they are good enough to advise the president. The new FAA head appointment, going to Trump's own personal pilot. sure, don't let immigrants be reunited with their families, but just promote your best buds and family to the highest offices they have any experience with, even tangentially. anti-nepotism laws be darned! |

This list could continue on and on, but I won't bore you. Honestly Lost - it's tough to figure out why the conservatives even recognize this disaster of a president. They (the repubs in DC) got what they wanted out of him - the tax bill. Now that it's over, the dems are gonna win big in the midterms and he'll be a lame duck (even more than he is right now). Even if the dems don't win big, there's significant momentum in the local and state races that will bode well for progressives. |
