a fetus is no more an individual than your foot is. if you cut off your foot it will die, become dead tissue. You have every right to do what you want with your foot, as long as you don't kick me with it.

If abortion is acceptable then why not let the baby be born and then kill it? That would be less risky for the mother.Abortion is murder no matter how you slice it. If it is a case of letting the child be born would risk the mother's life, then that is her choice if she has an abortion. To me, my life means nothing compared to a child so I would gladly give mine for the sake of an innocent baby's. But that's me and I know not everyone shares that view. The Lord has said in His word "Before I formed thee in the womb I knew thee".Babies mean a lot to God, why shouldn't we have the same feelings about them?

Just a note about Jehovah’s Witnesses

3 miles away is one of their churches.
They make regular, visits.
(I have been here for 39 years)

About 10 years ago, they came out.
Gave me their, ’spiel’.
In return I said:
“To bad, you are FOR, Abortion”
(Cheese & Rice what a Clamor from the 4 of them)
After that calmed down, I said:
“ well you, ‘voted’ for it, …… “
As soon as I said that, the Clamor started again,
and all about how, their, ‘allegiance’, is to God, not mans government.
I Told them: "Well, by Not Voting, you Voted FOR it".

They stomped out, and I never saw them again.

No... I'm against abortion, but in favor of a woman's choice. That's what many conservatives don't see - it's not about the abortion, it's about the choice a woman has over her own body.

if you notice, I created a new thread for the baker discussion too, instead of going on and on about it here in a thread about abortion, see, the difference is, I took PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY, I saw myself going off the topic and made a new thread for that tangent, instead of trying to link everything under the sun to the same thing to prove how wrong/evil the other side is
