When teachers start packing heat, deciding what gun to choose will be important. I really don't know just what they will pick, but after thinking about it a while, I have come to one conclusion..
The librarian is Gonna want a silencer.

There was a school shooting in Israel in 74.
They armed teachers.
There have been TWO since.
Both died, shot by a teacher.

 In multiple countries without firearms sales to civilians there aren't school shootings at all.

 My experience first hand is when there's fewer guns in the criminals hands they resort to explosives.

 Also there were 9 girls executed in a school in Israel when I was there.  3 kids had been shot about 3 months prior in a school playground.  19 year olds can not buy semi-automatics at a sports store there either.

 I'm ok with arming teachers but comparing it with Israel is a far stretch.
