Title: Something went wrong....... Post by raydawg on 03/03/18 at 09:11:09 Something went wrong.......yeah, ya think the "drugs" might have played a part? We promote further drug use, and celebrate its use in the media, and entertainment industry. When will we get to the point that we must turn away from believing that liberalization of all things is good. I'm sorry, life has consequences, and if we don't give that fact equal time in reporting what relaxing moral responsibility can cause, then just expect more of the same, as decay will widen, and encompass more of life until it consumes all..... Desensitize and disillusionment, the fodder of mainstream media.... A great disservice for their own profit. That same motivation, and reason, has caused the Kennedy's more heartache, than any one family should ever have to bear. Its NOT.....about the money. Police investigate shooting at Central Michigan University Michigan police helicopter searches for shooting suspect. Friends and neighbors expressed shock and sadness Friday when they learned that Central Michigan University student James Eric Davis Jr. was suspected of fatally shooting his parents. Deantre DeYoung, 20, met Davis Jr. when they were high school freshmen at a school east of Chicago, the Chicago Tribune reported. “He was a good kid, always,” DeYoung told the newspaper. “You would never expect something like this to come from James.” "He was a good kid, always. You would never expect something like this to come from James." - Deantre DeYoung, friend of suspect James Eric Davis Jr. The 19-year-old was arrested shortly after midnight Saturday after a daylong search by police, who said parents James Eric Davis Sr. and Diva Davis were fatally shot Friday morning inside Campbell Hall at CMU. The slayings happened on the last day of classes before spring break -- and followed Davis Jr.'s release from a hospital Friday morning following a drug-related issue Thursday night, police told the Lansing State Journal. Logan Ludy said he played basketball in high school with Davis Jr., Fox 2 Detroit reported. "Just from knowing him for a brief time, I didn't think that would happen," he said. "It is unbelievable." Other friends told the station that Davis was quiet, polite and “the product of a good family.” Jordan Murphy was a longtime friend of Davis Sr., who brought his son to Murphy’s home on several occasions, the Tribune reported. “Junior was a very respectful man, raised by upstanding parents, who would do anything to protect him and his siblings,” Murphy said. “This is an incredibly tragic event, and I pray for Eric's other children. This is so incredibly out of character, something went wrong somewhere.” Murphy also told the Tribune that Davis Jr.’s parents were loving and “ever-present parents who doted on their children.” Juan Leal and his family spent a lot of time with the Davis family, Fox 2 Detroit reported. The shooting at Central Michigan University today strikes close to home. A sad day in Bellwood and across the 7th District. My sincerest condolences go out to the family of Bellwood Police Officer James Davis Sr. and his wife who were shot and killed this morning. May they RIP. "They were a loving, close family, and they were really proud of him going to college," Leal told the station. Neighbors said Diva Davis was a “wonderful mother,” the station reported. Davis Sr. was longtime police officer in Bellwood, Ill., west of Chicago. "Since 1999, Officer Davis had admirably served as a part-time officer in the Bellwood Police Department, and his contribution to our community positively impacted everyone he served and served with," police Chief Jiminez Allen, under whom Davis Sr. served, told the Lansing State Journal. |
