Before Steinem and the women's movement, before a whole new group of employees hit the labor market, one person could provide for three others and themselves, without being a CEO. Since then the American workers have been running harder and faster on the treadmill for a smaller piece of the pie. Why? Many factors, but one very important thing to remember is, Labor is a commodity. When unemployment is high, an employer can hire the desperate. Add in the horrible trade deals. I don't know how to connect them in an explanation, but I Think there's a connection to the national debt. Maybe not, it's just a thing that I think about. I have a hard time expecting wealth in the people's pockets while America is busily building war machines and spending blood and treasure doing things that cause such misery and destruction. I'm thinking that kinda money and manpower could be used to improve the world. Why people accept bombs in a Humanitarian Mission is beyond me. |

Other people could have been involved. Was Lockerbie used as a reason in the news? What was? What excuses were used for destroying Libya? And HOW is it Possible to destroy a country and CALL it a Humanitarian Mission? It doesn't add up. There had to be something behind it that we don't know. And how did Libya get on a list of countries that we would be militarily involved in in 2001, and the REASONS For that military action only be things done after 2010? I don't know. But not knowing isn't a reason to believe what I was told. It's not adding up. Couple ALL THAT with Gadhaffi going to the U.N.Security Council and Telling them that If they take him out, refugees will pour into Europe, and you are forced to ask yourself if Someone Wanted the refugees. I don't believe those Uprisings in the middle east were spontaneous and without outside support. How many oppressed people are able to arm themselves with RPGs? Such poverty, and trucks with fifty caliber machine guns just don't add up. I believe we were very involved in creating the problems. |
