True - but remember the reason that nixon resigned is not because of his impending impeachment, but the drag he put on the party.

Given that, and the upcoming midterms, I don't see this president lasting his full term. And if by some miracle he does, the republican party will never fully recover.

Since Russia is backing Syria
And since Trump is screwing with Syria
IF IN FACT Russia had colluded with Trump
Now would be the time for Putin to produce the evidence.

I hope, but I don't think so, sadly.

I'd say once the republicans see the losses after the midterms, heat will be put on the president from both sides. Pelosi might be speaker again, and with a democratic majority, there will most likely be an impeachment.

That 20% in the middle, it seems.
They voted for Obama too, first term.

Notice the folks winning the last few elections have distanced themselves from the mainstream party leadership.

I'm not saying that Trump thought he was doing Putin a favor, I think Trump thought he was being a tough guy and sending a message to Assad, which he might have, But as far as actually damaging Russia, nah, that didn't happen in Syria.
