Apparently The President LSS Trump has threatened to shut down the country if his wall isn't funded. Can you imagine the unpaid soldiers & sailors proudly marching in his "Parade". At least a limo of Generals and another of Admirals will be there to drive by. ;)

Of more importance, its snowing here in central NY. Looks beautiful.

While I'm complaining, my wife ordered three small drapes (valances) for a window. Noticed in my bank account a charge for one, went to emails and sure enough; notice that they only had one in stock and will not be getting any more. So they shipped 1 of 3 -how does that help?
No wonder we have to make America Great again. ;D ;D

I think it's pretty clear that Trump is willing to accept the unacceptable in order to get the military well cared for.
It's not his fault that congress has seen to it that they have money but the military gets screwed during a battle inside the beltway.

I haven't been following this. Is he trying to increase funding? All I have seen is proposals for cuts to retirement, and staffing. I'm ok with some of it, but not the method - for instance requiring the DOJ to submit a 2020 budget without a 2019 one being finished.

Oh JOG, we once again agree on something: that we will have to join, or create another war; the elephant party with collusion from the donkeys live off the graft and corruption of such wars.

Don't count out the Korean peninsula just yet but Iran does seem a likely choice since the Elephants have cozied up to the Hawks of Israel. Do you think we can get the Israeli wall builders to cross the pond?

I left the military at the perfect time 1 year before trumps dumbass got in office. The federal government made the choice easy for me.

Now I work for a very wealthy city and organization that has "No budget" If they cant pay we dont work, and I work hourly now and get paid overtime. The military is basically indentured servitude.
